Cheap Tablet PC, do you have one?

I am eying lately in tablet PC, but ofcourse I cannot affort apple IPAD or APAD that's why I just look for cheap tablet PC. I've seen this cheap tablet PC like android and other name they call it that I cannot recall on ebay Philippines. It ranges from 2k+ up to 8K+. I'm just waiting for my SSS loan to arrive so I can buy one. If you have one how was the performance? I'd like to know if it's good enough to buy but ofcourse nothing compares to original apple IPAD.
Would love to hear your share (those who have tablet PC only or who bought from ebay, much better)! Thanks in advance!

My officemate just bought a cheap tablet recently for Php 3000. She thinks it's OK, and it all depends on how the owner uses it.

That's good to hear, I've seen on TV and heard that in less than few weeks after buying cheaper one they can't use it anymore.

t's all about using it with precaution. I remember the same coworker bought a cheap China touch screen phone two years ago, and until now it's still in a working condition.

Exactly, that was my seller said and ofcourse you have to choose the best unit. I already bought one and it just arrive now, I will have to try it after work. The seller communication is great, we talked over the phone which most seller don't do, they prefer sending sms or email.

i so agree that nothing beats apple ipad, my nephew has and when i am at his home he would often let me use it lol. it is a bit pricey but the quality is great..but then again i also cannot afford to buy one because it is oh so expensive hahaha, so i was also planning on buying that android kind of around 3000 pesos only, not for me exactly but for my kids... and i have been hearing good feed backs about it as well.

My officemate says that he is not a fan of apple for the reason that it is very expensive, he said that he would rather buy other product of tablet pc. I also don't get feedback from Android tablet PC and thank God for people like you who answer my discussion, they give me better idea.

Hi Laniekins.....
I personally believe money come with quality if buying electronic stuff. The pricey its was its give better product and after sales service. I think you can choose another brand thats well know which also launch the similar product.
I personally like asus brand because I hear Ipad were made in their factory or you can buy IPAD I since IPAD II released its has been face reduced price which I think its quite reasonable price even its will be much expensive if you compare with others cheap Chinese brand.

I really sad to hear thats. I hope Sassy will remember how to get home. I think your dog is a female isn't it and I hear they tend run away for mating, at least thats what happen to my best friend dog who run away and she noticed the dog got pregnant.
We just hope someone not eating it or kidnap it

Yes, she's female, she didn't run away for mating. She always wants to go outside, like other dogs, she likes trash, and she do her potty outside. I am so paranoid at looking at pictures of dogs being slaughtered. I can't bear to know that sassy was slaughtered. Oh God, I miss her terribly and I wanted her to comeback to us.

first of all, if you want to have a tablet PC, you may consider the following options :
1. OS - android, iOS, or Windows Phone 7. I prefer Android because the apps are mostly free and it's open source
2. Performance. This includes processors and RAMs. A PC tablet should have a minimum of 800 MHz processor and 256 Mb RAM
3. Price. Here's the price for tablet PC based of the OS ranging from highest to lowest
a. Android, especially Galaxy S and Motorola Xoom, but it's satisfactory
b. Apple (iOS)
c. Windows Phone 7 - don't know bout this....
