Chicken Soup for the Soul - True Love. I am at the age where I am questioning wheter I would still be able to find my one true love. This new edition of Chicken Soup for the Soul is a collection of love stories. Whether it is finding love, losing love, or keeping love it is all in the book. It is very inspiring and gives me lot of hope that someday, i too, will have a love story to share.

I am currently reading "The Chocolate Jewel Case " by Joanna Carl. It is a series of chocolate mystery books that she has written that are really good. I believe that this is the fifth or sixth in the series. I just finished "The Reckoning" by Beverly Lewis. I really enjoyed them and intend to look for some new ones by her soon. I enjoy books based on the Amish and I am going to look for some others as well when I go to the library tomorrow.

Thanks for taking the time to tell me what you are currently reading. I'll look for this series in the bookstore and see if it will interest me. You enjoy books based on the Amish, that is really intereting. Keep up going to the library. Not everyone nowadays go to the library to borrow books for pleasure.

I haven't read that edition of Chicken soup for the soul, but I have read many of the others, and I think that there are a lot of inspiring and touching stories in those books. It is not easy to buy the books in my country, but I managed to find some of them in when I was in the UK and when I visited the American book store in Paris. I recognize the feeling that you write about, I used to feel that way, but today I have found my true love and we have been married for 2 years. I hope that you will also find your true love in the future

I'm currently reading, "The Elfstones of Shannara" by Terry Brooks. I'm on page 195 out of 600, and I've enjoyed it so far. I've never read any of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books... I'm typically a reader of high fantasy and I rarely venture outside of that genre. If I do read non-fiction, it's usually history, mythology, about dream science, or some kind of Christian theological/apologetics works.

I'm afraid since I'm not a reader of feel-good non-fiction... I can't really recommend anything. If you're open to venturing into the fantasy genre then I'd recommend The Magic Kingdom of Landover series by Terry Brooks, The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle, and The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Of course, I can't tell you whether or not you'll like them... but they're definitely favorites of mine. I kinda hate it when someone asks me, "Is that any good?" when they see me reading a book. A "good" book is very subjective. Not everybody's going to like what I love... in fact... there will be loads of people who hate it. lol I usually answer, "I like it." when someone asks that question rather than saying, "Yes, it's a good book."

Thanks for taking the time to tell what you are currently reading. This gives me an idea on what books to read. I'm not quite fond of the fantasy genre in books, but it s always to try some new stuff. I'm not in to non-fiction as well, but Chicken Soup for the Soul just relaxes my mind whenever I read it, I'm not sure why though. If you know other books that you think I might enjoy, feel free to tell me the title so I can look it up. Thank you.

Hi Chiwasaki!!! I hav not read The Lost Symbol, is it any good? But I have read Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code way back when I was in college. I could say I enjoyed Angels and Demons much more that The DaVinci Code. I'm glad to hear that you are also a big fan of Secret Garden. I actually watched it on line when it was airing in Korea, and I just really miss those two together, hence the profile picture. By the way, thanks for adding me as a friend.
