I would like to start jump roping to lose some weight. I heard you can burn a lot of calories doing this. what kind of exercise do you do to lose weight and would you consider jump roping?

Yeah i did rope jumping when i was child. If you love to do it, go for it but be careful you can fall down. Its kind of exercise that will help you loose weight. Do it with care. And also do some aerobics.

I haven't jump roped since I was a little kid, that was way long ago. I miss doing that. I guess jump roping could be a fun way to a get a cardio burn, it has the same feel as jumping jacks. Maybe I should try that because I've been to lazy to actually go the gym and workout.

I used to jump rope when I was a kid. but I really only did it for the fun of it, mostly. I haven't done it in a really long time.

I did jump the rope when i was younger. But i wasn't regular at it.I think you have chosen a good form of exercise to reduce weight and be quick on your feet.Nowadays i prefer the treadmill or a walk to reduce weight.I wouldn't consider jumping the rope now as I am a lot older and heavier now.

No I don't have jump rope on my routine. although I love playing jump ropes before with my friends. Anyway, I just do sit ups and squats most of the time. ^.^

Jump roping is a very good exercise to burn calories. I do jump roping in the morning also to sweat. I also heard that it can increase height, which I think I still have to prove. Manny Pacquiao includes jump roping in his trainings as well.
