Mom is going into the hospital as an outpatient to have the old stints removed and new ones put in. One is in her bladder so it'll be interesting to see how they get it out.... that is, if she survives the surgery. It's a simple surgery however as long as she's not put under and instead in a twlight sleep, she should do alright. She has to be there at 5:30 am because she's the first one to go in. So hubby, my dad, my mom (of course!) and I will be there for moral support. To those who don't know the situation, please refer back to my older discussions on my mother to catch up. There's just too much to tell about it again. I promise to keep you all updated and please, prayers are very much needed.
Something else to point out.
In my last discussion, someone had tagged it 'copy and paste responses'. That's all well and good because I don't care. You see, I feel this way, the situation is still the same and nothing has changed so yes, my responses are a lot alike. I try to give some kind of response that's a little different from my other ones but I can only change it so far before it becomes untrue. Copied response or not, at least I responded.
Do you get offended when I copy and paste my responses? How do you think it could be any different? It doesn't change the situation so how can I respond differently?

I'll be praying too Cats, let us know as soon as possible how she does..As for the copy and paste, I believe that is against the guidelines. Sometimes I reword my response a little and if it gets to be too troubling, I'll direct the person to my response in a previous box, that way I don't have to repeat myself so often...

Thanks carmelanirel, we all appreciate it!! Now instead of repeating myself, look above at the response I posted above, it's unreal that my mom got a good doctor from the very same office that the last idiot doctor works. Sometimes I wonder where they got their medical license at.
As for the copy and paste, I try to change a few words here and there but not much because I don't want to change the meaning. The situation hasn't changed so I don't want my meaning to change either. Usually I tell the responder that this is a copy and paste answer but I didn't with my last discussion because I figured it was known by now that I do that. Maybe not. However, it wasn't meant to offend anybody.

Your mother is in my prayers. As for responses, who is going to actually look up "copy and paste responses" as a tag? Tags are to help us look for what we want to find on MyLot, and there is only room for a certain number of tags. I hate people who waste them. Also, to shorter responses, there are only so many ways one can respond. If someone writes "your mother is in my prayers," or "I hope she gets better soon" or something nice and sincere but similar, how many ways can you respond to that? A few "thank yous" should suffice. Some people are just nuts, and have too much time on their hands, to pick on you for something like this.

Danishcanadian is exactly right. That is actually a misuse of tagging. You could have admin remove it, but that is up to you. I think that person needs to get a life.

Thank you danishcanadian we appreciate your prayers and I appreciate your understanding on my 'copy and paste' responses. I didn't mean to offend anybody by doing so but I do try to change a word here and there to make it a little different but I have to be careful so the meaning doesn't change. I'd be saying the same thing anyways so what difference does it make? Maybe I should just do every other one backwards and then the next I'll change the font? Yeah right. I won't be doing that but wouldn't it be funny if I did?

First thing, good luck to your momma. I just said a prayer for her and all of you. I will be thinking about you all tomorrow. I pray that it all goes well.
As for copy and paste for some of your responses, I totally understand and in no way am I offended. You right more then one word responses and sometimes you will be telling all of us the same thing, why not copy and paste the pertinent details and then if you have something to say to each person then ok, if not ok for that too. your friends here understand. Like you said, at least you responded.

Thank you Polly for your prayers and for your understanding. I agree with you 100%. What difference does it make? But.. I do change a word here and there to make it a little different but if I were to change ONE word, the wrong word, in the wrong place, it could change the whole meaning. What's so hard for them to understand that? Who knows. I just wanted to explain why I do it so maybe an understanding could be reached.

Cats, I will pray for her right now. Tags are not for criticizing people, they are to organize discussions so that they can be searched. That was not appropriate. It is up to MyLot admin to decide if you were wrong for copy and paste responses to a discussion.

Cats, I would do the same thing in your shoes, in fact, I think I have. it is just as good as saying "See my first response." I think they were trying to say you were in violation, but as far as I know you were not.

Thank you so much GG! I hope and pray that they remember not to put her under but in a twilight sleep because her chances are very high in dying. She's had it done two times before but it's still very unnerving when she has to go in again because you never know if the doctors will remember especially a new one who's never done her before.
As for the tags, I don't know if that was meant to be an insult or not but in any case, I wasn't trying to insult anybody by doing that. That is one thing about the guidelines I don't get because the situation is the same so why can't we copy and paste our responses and add a little more to it? What's so wrong about that? To each his own, I guess.

I'm glad you're ok with my copy and pasteing. It seems a lot of us are ok with it so who ever is all hell bent on my doing it, well, they can just GET OVER IT or REPORT ME. I don't care. its ok because i do it to sometimes. i mean theres only so many responses you can give back on one subject and ive at times wished i hadnt done a certain discussion because of that problem
anyway, im going to pray for your mom and hope you can recipricate for my arm. now theres a lump on the elbow to and im hopeing they find out something before its to late.

I wasn't trying to offend anybody and hope that isn't the meaning behind the tag that someone put on. Like you said, there's only so many ways to respond back giving the same information without it being misunderstood. I mean, I do change a few words here and there but I have to be careful in which I do change for it'll change the whole meaning.
Thank you sweetie for praying for my mom!! You're such a sweetheart! And you better believe I'll be praying for you too!! I hope and pray that it's nothing but a 'water' pocket or just a cyst like my husband has. Please keep me posted on this!

I will send your mum my prayers and I hope she will okay soon. Personally I don’t mind if you copy and paste your responses because they are sincere although I guess it is against the guidelines here so referring MyLotters back to your original comment may be the safest way to go. There are those who cannot help but report anything and everything. All the best to your mum.

Thanks paula, she did alright but there were some problems afterwards that we hope will correct itself between now and tomorrow morning.
About my copy and paste, I change a few words here and there but not much because I don't want to change the meaning. If the one's who put that tag in there are so bent on reporting me, then let them. I'm doing the best that I can and if they don't like it then there's other discussions they can go to OR mylot can ban me. I don't want to get banned but if I am because of something so trivial then so be it. I guess we just can't please everybody, eh?

I haven't thought you copied and pasted a response for me. I am appreciative that I get one back..lol..there are a lot of people that don't at all.

Thanks Jen. I'm not going to worry about that tag. Like you said, at least I responded. lol Some people worry about the dumbest things but I'm not going to join the party.
As for my mom, she's better now and I'll be starting another discussion on her in a few minutes.
