Hello mylotters. It's Monday morning my time & I am drinking coffee to prepare myself for this new day. Every Monday, I will have this "not wanting to work" problem. However, there are a lot pending issues there, driving me to be awoken. I am still sleepy though. What cheers me up is that I finally managed to meet my friend who I haven't met for more than a year. And we had lunch and a long talk. Then we went for some shopping as well. It's quite delightful to have some time with her, even though I was quite tired after the day. A bigger surprise was that I met my classmate of highschool in the bus who I haven't met for 4 or 5 years! She changed a lot and became quite gilish now. Then it's a long chat till we depart from the metro. So, are you ready for your new week or do you have sth happy that helps to drive you to work? Please share with us. Happy posting & cheers for both work & study.

I have just finish bathing after drinking my coffee too. Preparing for this new day. It's a new school term for me today. The start of summer school. It's suppose to be holiday, but because my school is based in Singapore, but using the US system, therefore, during summer, the instructors would fly to Singapore and then give us lecturers, explaining why i have school today. Definitely, every Monday, all of us would face Monday blues. However, I am now still studying and I think i am already very lucky and should not complain too much. Wait until i start working and then the real complaining begins. I'm all ready for a new start. Just returning back from my Karbi trip two days ago, I now feel recharged to face a new school term! And glad to hear you met your friend whom you have not met for a long time. Be sure to keep contact with her.

Hello. It's lucky that you are still studying. You will feel the "depression" when you are at work. My friend and I discussed about the further study issue yesterday too. After working for a while, we really feel like going back to the campus, not just for the pure atmosphere, but also that we feel like we don't have enough to compete in today's society. Anyway, enjoy your new term.

Yes, i am indeed lucky that i'm still schooling. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degrees. Based on what you have mentioned, do you think i should further pursuing my Master after graduation? I can sense it's really competitive in the work place when you mention that you don't have enough to compete. It is due to education?

i am graduating college this week so I'm happy, but what keeps me going every week is that I have goals to become successful later in life. Right now I don't exactly see my job as the one I want to keep forever, but since I am trying to learn as much as I can to find a better job, I am motivated to hold on in my current job because I want to raise enough money to start my next job.

We all think it's quite happy in college that we can focus on learning. And everyday we feel something new was added to our mind. When it was time for my graduation, it's happy and emotional at the same time. I agree that the goal for the just graduates is to learn as much as we can, which was my goal too. Right now, we are doing the same thing. I try to learn more in my current job and prepare myself for a better one. Happy posting

I work near my house so the commute is not bad at all. I drive over in 5 minutes. Every monday though, I have the "oh no, it's back to work" blues. lol.

I work near my house too. It's 5 minutes bus for me. Just as we discussed above, we always wanted weekend to be longer.

I hate that feeling. I feel like it is kind of a hurtle. Once you make that first step, the day gets easier and easier. I am actually a full-time dad. It can become exhausting. I mean, I get lots of micro breaks through out the day. I can go online whenever I want, have a meal whenever, so it doesn't sound so bad, however, I can never sit down and read a book. Even Mylotting can be a pain if I am not quick about it. Most of the time, when I am doing something for fun, I am doing one or two things as a dad or home maker too. Cooking, cleaning up after 2 little boys and a (quite frankly messy) mom. Then there is all the other little things...I can hold it together well, but the problem is that first step. Basically, my life gets easier the longer I live it, on a day to day basis that is haha

That's true, I mean for everyting. As long as we make the first step, it seems to be easier afterwards. I can understand that you will be really busy, esp. with 2 little boys. Things will become better when the boys grown. That's what my mom and colleagues told me. While the boys know how to take good care of themselves, it would be less messy and reading a book is possible then Happy posting & best regards to your family

I think I am always forced to say yes. I would love to say yes, though. Anyway, good thing my shift starts at night so I still feel like it's still my off on a Monday morning. This week, I have a lot back-end tasks to complete. I hope I can finish them all before they ask for them.

It happens from time to time that we need to use the rest time for work. After all, it's not quite pleasing to be chased for those tasks. And sometimes thoses tasks just pile up at the same time. Keep your good spirit and have a nice day.

Ohh yes i need to go now. I don't know why this Monday comes again. I wish all the days should be sunday or my week off days so that i can have fun with my friends and family members. If Monday comes then it will take out my cheerness and makes me to get ready for the work. But i love my work alot but still i don't want to leave my friends and family.

I think that's exactly how we think. I always wanted to have a longer weekend, so that I can have a better rest. Or I can plan sth else with my friend and family. Anyway, enjoy your week.

It's really hard to get up and start moving every monday. I hate to leave my daughters at home. I just love every minute that I am with them. And school days would soon start, I need to get up much earlier than the last two months. I usually felt relief every Friday because I am really looking forward for the weekend which is usually my dayoff.

I don't have kids yet, but I heard that from my colleague. They need to get up really early to take good care of stuffs for kids. And my father is always happy when we (3 daughters) are at home (I am working near home and my 2 younger sisters are in university). I totaly can understand that Friday is kind of a relief. As a regular worker, Friday is quite inspiring, except that there are a lot of routines for my work. Have a nice week

hi chrissieatu, good morning there and hope you enjoy your week. it's still sunday night here.hehe... I just joined mylot last week and this group has given me a drive to write more and more in this website. I like sharing my opinions with other people in writing form, especially in this long summer holiday (3 months). so, I am sure that my upcoming weeks will be filled with busy times responding to discussions in mylot and creating my own discussions as well. I'm glad that you met your old friends recently. what I like from meeting old friends is (especially old friends to whom we were never close in the past): mostly I found many positive changes in old friends' physical and personal characters which made us feel more attached than we did in the past, and then this new level of friendship begins until now. I think that's the beauty of meeting old friends.hehe enjoy your week. Ardi

Hello Ardi. When you see this response, maybe it's your Monday morning You just remind me of my first days after joining mylot. I spent much of my time here joining in discussion and managing my own. Enjoy posting. You are quite right about meeting old friends. The one I met yesterday, I can hardly recognize her. She's so beautiful and gilish now. And we haven't had that long chat even when we were in high school. It's quite a happy experience. Have a nice week yourself too & enjoy your long holiday.

Hello all MONDAY came again now its time to go back to work with full energy.I feel very energetic on MONDAY specially at work which diminishes till Saturady arrives. We always plan some outing mostly on SUNDAYS to relax like going out for dinner with family/go for shopping which refreshes mind from the presuure/work load at work places. This way we always welcome SUNDAYS and again go back to work with full energy so is today.

Hello sjvg1976. You gave me a really positive feedback. It's fun to live in that way. Maybe sometimes, I should think about how I can live a quality life myself. Now there are quite a lot of work to be done & I can hardly spare time out. Have a nice day.
