We inculcate to the minds of the children that they should go to primary school then secondary school then tertiary so that they could have a job when they finish schooling and when they have a job then they have money. Very simple, right? However is this really the reason why we send our children to school? Growing up that's the reason I was given, now that I've grown I saw another angle why we were sent to school. That reason is that our parents want us to upgrade ourselves to become better individuals, individuals who understand this world deeper than their understanding. If not, then why do parents send their children to school?

True enough cause parents would not hesitate to spend for their child's education for there are so many positive outcomes.

But these days education has become so costlier that parents think a lot when the time comes to admit there child. They become very much choosy to select school as money matters most. Almost all school takes donation of very large amount which sometimes is not possible for all. I am also going through the same phase rather worse from common people as i have twins which are about to get admitted but that doesn't matter i wont compromise with the education of my children and get then admitted in some good school.

Hi. ladybug. Welcome to myLot! I send my children to school because I want them to be able to learn as much as they can. I want them to have a decent education that will allow them to excel as they become much older. I also want them to acquire the necessary skills that is needed for them to achieve their goals in life.

I think that's the deeper reason why children are sent to school however how many parents have informed/told their child of this particular reason? cause I think that if this reason was inculcated children will not skip classes or flunk their subjects.

To learn, mainly- they learn a lot from school, not just lessons, but also how t interact with people and be prepared for adult life. They gain friends, have fun, learn from mistakes and many more.. They also become responsible...

An academic curriculum should cater to the different lerning needs/styles of their students. It is a standard in which all academic institutions should comply with to produce effective and productive individuals.

hello, Yes, I do agree to you because parents want us to learn little by little by the environment we are living and for us to socialize at the same time, by this we can learned so many things. it seems that it is really difficult but they are always right actually what we learned is not for them but it is for our good.
