She is 51 now, for last 2 months she is suffering from severe pain in knee, she was advised several allopathic drugs, injection and some injections were given in the knee also; but nothing helped. She was advised to apply paste of ‘Turmeric’ over the knee, she is okay now, but she will apply it for 2 months more. The active ingredient in the spice Turmeric is, Curcumin, this has been shown to be a very powerful anti-inflammatory which is excellent to prevent and treat any inflammatory condition especially osteoarthritis. It also possesses a high antioxidant content that has shown to have very promising anti-tumorigenic effects. Ladies can also apply a paste made Turmeric, honey and rose oil, sandal wood, oil; apply over face, if possible all over body, keep for 2-3 hours, next bath. You won’t have any skin infections and your body will glow like pure gold. My wife does this for past 50 years. I hope you find this information useful. Please respond and share your valued opinion. Add your tips on skin care and knee pain. Thanks in advance. Professor ‘*Bhuwan*’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

Hmm, in addition to the fact that my husband has been recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, he has also suffered from back pain for just over the last year. I wonder if this paste that you are talking about would work for arthritis related back pain as well. I might have to give it a try to see if it would work. As far as his pain goes, I am almost to the point that I am willing to try anything to see if it works.

I've taken turmeric for inflammation (internally). Tastes nasty, but it helps...

Yes Professor. the information you provided about usage of turmeric is good. But even our Indian ladies are shy to use turmeric day to day. In fact it started from our generation itself and you can imagine how the present day youngsters will be. I read somewhere that movement is a remedy for arthritis. One has to be moving frequently. We should not confine ourselves in one place. I suggest computer operators should move away from their seat every twenty minutes for two minutes, take a break , take a small walk and then start. have a good day
