Do you still remember of what was your longest time of being vacant after you resigned at work?
What is the reason that it was your longest time to be vacant?
What are you doing while you are having a vacant without working at all?
In my case this was the longest time like more than 1 year.
Wow how I wish I am rich so that I could have my time to travel. But yeah! I am trying to make a portfolio in 3d but seems that I can't really form an object so I am not yet confident enough to burn it on CD then apply to work that has something to do with 3d animation. Instead I also did the graphic or layout design which is more matured so that they could see more on my portfolio that is only exclusive for layout design.

I remember i longest time i remained vacant was of app 6 months around 5~6 years back. Reason behind my being vacant was i resigned the job as i was not satisfied with the job profile there but was hanging there for around 4 yeras & at last i though of resigning there without having another job in my hand in order to search for better job as i was not able to find it due to work pressure.
But when i left the job i got plenty of time to search for another job. In 6 months i got another job but that too was not a good organistaion that was really a sick unit. The again i quit the job & joined another organistaion in good firm. That was the turning point i did not see back after that. I left 2 more jobs & now settled in a firm for qpp 5 years meanwhile i got married in between so i thought of no more quiting without having a job in hand as responsibilities were increasing day by day.
But from all this i got a lesson that if you are not satisfied with job due to any reason don't hang in there leave as soon as possinle & search suitable job.Secondly always enhance your knowledge for betterment of yourself as knowledge remains with you in any circumstances.

Never. I started working when I was 16, and have not stopped. I've had 3-4 jobs total, one main one and a couple of seasonal jobs as well. I couldn't imagine not working. The longest time I've 'taken off' of work was 2 weeks, and that was to go to Sweden to visit a relative. And that seemed like a long time to be out of work. Couldn't imagine being out of work for longer than a week or two.
