Other than Google and Mylot no other sites is Getting connected

When i switched on my PC and started to browse i noted that no other sites than Google family and mylot were getting connected . Am using a Ubuntu Operating system , can anyone tell me some idea how to get rid of the problem ? Thanks for the help !
