Hi guys! I'm pretty excited for the school to start! Excited to meet new people and make friends.. I know it can make me move on and forget my depression! What am I really excited for is to buy school supplies! I don't know, but every school year, that's what I really look up to! Even though we don't have much budget for it, but at least we can buy!

That's great! We have got the same feeling when I am still studying. I am very excited to buy school supplies. I used to buy those important things only, making sure that it fits in my budget. By the way, when is the official start of your school? Hmmm, I am going to be sad because I am going to really miss you here in myLot. I really hope and pray that you will be able to cope up well with the school curriculum. I am really happy for you eddsss. It is really nice to see that you are happy. Take care always coz I care..

When my children were younger they were excited to get their new school supplies. When they became teenagers, then it was all about how they looked at school and not the supplies they took with them. it's difficult to get a good combination there sometimes.

When I was studying, I also loved shopping for school supplies! The thought of having new things for the coming schoolyear makes me happy . New things meaning new additional notebooks to add to the recycled ones, pens because pens from the previous school year has gone inkless already or a new bag because my old bag for 3 consecutive school years already said goodbye. This may be the reason why they say shopping (for whatever) is therapeutic . Have fun shopping. I hope you get good finds with all the funky, vibrant designs.

Hi bunso! You just made me smile! You remind me of my good old days when I was a student! Buying school supplies, uniforms, shoes and bags is what really excites me too before the school opening, haha! And I will go to school so early in my first week, haha! The remaining days, not that early but not late bunso, hehe! I remember when I was in college,I do the shopping alone, mom is not with me anymore, hehe! Well,I'm a big girl then! Make a list before buying bunso so you wont forget any supplies. It doesn't matter if the supplies are not branded, having a complete set is what matters, just see if the supplies are of good quality okay. Enjoy your shopping! See yah!

Yes,unbranded supplies are good too bunso, you can buy more if you choose the less expensive ones. See yah!

Hi! Going to school and meet new friends is something really excited. It is not surprise for you to feel excited when is time to buy the school supplies since you can effort it. But for those people who cannot effort it, they will think that it is a burden when ever they have to find money to buy the school supplies. You should feel lucky that you do not need to worry about the money at all.

Have you ever experience that you have to look up for money to buy those important school supplies? I had that when I was in primary school and I have to borrow money from someone to buy books. That will be the most unhappy period I would say when ever it comes to school reopen.

NO. You're very wrong yspmyl, I have a lot of problems when it comes to money.. I only buy few things and the most important things in school.. Its just few, but it still excites me!

I'm like Kathleen Kelley in You've Got Mail, there's just that particular time of the year wherein you just feel like buying school supplies. Even if it's been years since I last went to school, I still get in on the excitement of the kids and parents scrambling in the malls to buy supplies for the new school year. I never really got excited about schooling but the scent of new books and having new stuff to use were enough to get me out of bed for the first day of classes.

When I was younger, I was so excited to go to school because I get to choose my school supplies. Mom usually cover my notebooks with plastic covers while I watch. I look forward on my first day at school as I will be able to use them already.

You remind me of my schooldays. I have the same feeling before, but aside from the excitement and would also feel nervous if i will have enough money to buy for the entire school supplies that i need. So, what i do is, i recycle my previous notebooks by getting the unused pages and stitch it to make one. In that case i can use the money saved from buying notebook and just buy other stuff - like different colors of pens.

Hi edss!!! I'll be going back to school, too but I'm not that excited. During my first year last year, I was really excited because I missed school a lot. But when I tasted a year of MS, I think it's really a lot of work, more than what I imagined! I didn't know MS study is very demanding! It competes with my work. But I cannot stop now. I can't go back out now from what I started. I don't get excited buying school supplies anymore, too. Although I like buying cute school stuffs. I have a lot of unused school supplies so I won't be buying new ones. I used to get excited with this though, back when I was in high school and college. When I was in high school, I used to buy notebooks with pictures of celebrities. I was "jologs" then. Hahaha... When I was in college, I used to buy non-wire notebooks because I wanted to save time. If I use wired notebooks, I had to remove the wire and "sew" the holes like what I did back in high school. And I liked non-wire notebooks, which are usually for elementary students, because of the pictures of different anime characters. Cheers.

Hi. edsss17. Oh tell me about it! When I was younger, my grandmother worked as an custodian at the high school that I had attended when I was 15-18 years old. And, she would clean out the lockers and bring the student's left over notebooks, pencils, pens, folders, tablets, notebook binders, loose leaf paper and more... We was so happy to receive these school supplies. It seemed like we never really had to buy any school supplies for school because we always seemed to have so much from what our grandmother would bring home to us all. It was so much of fun, it was like we went shopping. But of course, right now, I buy any school supplies for all of my kids. I no longer get any free goodies like I used to get in the past. Churches do give out free school supplies to student's in late July though. I myself, find it very exciting when I go shopping for my kids, even though I don't go to school myself. It is just so fun and the thrill of it is exciting!

She's excited to meet her new classmates, her new school , her new set of teachers , her new dorm , her Medicine uniform , hew new bag , her new shoes and most of all, to use her new school supplies ! I can truly empathize with you guys, because i feel the same way too when i was still a student!

Well, you're not the only one. Even though I'm already a working mother, I still buy those things whenever I come across them. You should see my pencil cases, I have 2 of them . One is filled with the normal pens and pencils and the other one is full of highlighters (assorted colours), glitter pens and whiteboard marker pens. I guess no matter how old you are, you will always get excited over these things.
