Have you heard the news??? a teenage boy sold one of his kidney so that he can buy an iPhone...whoaaa!!!are we really that desperate to own an iPhone? I'm using a China Phone now, and I have no problem connecting to internet via bluetooth, yes I'm using my CHINA PHONE as a modem...using this device visiting myLot, I would say the connection is just fine...not for youtube and some videos of course!!! I've used a lot phones: from SE,LG,Samsung,Nokia...Siemens so many, if you're a little bit techie- so many ways to use the phone as a tool, but if you're not, so many ways to spend and throw the money.

That's just nuts! You see how materialistic people have become these days?! I'm surprised that the parents had no say about it. I do have an iPhone but it was just given to me by my partner. We just barely see each other often and the phone bills are really high that we decided to have one that has wifi capabilities and could help the relationship. It's been great. But if you're going to ask me if I would do everything I can to get one, I don't think so. It's just a phone. The value would depreciate. Other phones would get the spot light soon. Further, what business does he have the he needs a lot of functions for a particular phone? It's too impractical and I hope the parents didn't allow.

Hi oroxjo, I did not hear this news but its very sad to hear this. In todays world also poverty or say madness is such that one can sell his organ to buy a phone. I donot from where he got this idea & where his parents were when he took this step?? These days you don't know when & what your kids are doing you should have control on your children you need to talk to your children else they take these type of decision for which you & your child will suffer for whole life. I donot know if I-phone has that much value than of an organ of human body. What doctors & staff of that hospital were doing. They should have asked his parents first. If this is done by the consent of his parents then nothing can be done only cursing ourself how mean we have become.

I have not heard of this news yet. I am in shock to hear that! A kidney for an iPhone? It is totally not worth. Actually I don't understand why some people are so crazy for the Apple products. At least I am not one of them. I think a very big problem to use iPhone is: It just recognize one computer. If you want to use it by another computer, sorry, it won't work. I love China

That's crazy. Did his parents approve of it? I think a young boy such as that could not just make drastic decisions like selling parts of his body without the knowledge of the parents.

I am shocked to hear that- I have heard of news like these about eople who sell their organs, but buying an iPhone for it is just crazy. He could have at least sent the money on more important things like school.

"Treasure is where your heart is." Its a true saying 'coz people nowadays will exchange their life for materials things. Its really a nonsense thing to exchange your body part just for a piece of cellphone. Gadget upgrades almost every month. Even if you have the latest model today, tomorrow there'll be another latest soon to be launched on the market. So what's the use? He is totally fool just like syndicates who sell kids for money and for their own benefit.
