What To Do with a Weiner?

So now that shirtless photos of Anthony Weiner have hit the net, photos he sent to women other than his wife from his email account and now that RadarOnline has a source who says she has over 200 sexts from Weiner and now it seems that this was more hanky panky than hacker pranker, what happens next? I mean, we know what happens when a Republican is caught with his pants down or his shirt off, he has to resign. But the options for a Democrat are so much wider.
Does Weiner resign?
Does Debbie Wasserman Schultz continue to insist that his private messages and nude photos to underage girls is a "personal matter"?
Does he get his own show on CNN like Eliot Spitzer did?
I don't personally care that he's a pervert who likes to cyber with women other than his wife. I do care if those women are underage high school girls. I do care that he's been lying and covering up while those who reported the scandal are being accused of the crime of hacking his account.

I remember a similar scandal with a republican senator that sent a picture of himself bare chested, in jeans. He was forced to resign. I doubt Mr. Weiner will be under such pressure but he certainly should be since the other guy was hounded out of office.
I was very surprised that he would do such a thing, if he actually did. It seems to me that he hasn't been married that long. He must have a very short attention span!
I do wish our elected officials would behave in such ways that we can point them out to our children as examples of good people to look up to.

As far as politicians being lying, cheating perverts, that certainly crosses party lines.
The fact that Weiner hasn't resigned says to me that, "Hey, I know I'm a perv and a criminal for crying 'hacker,' but like Richard Gere, I got nowhere else to go!"
R or D, the quality of elected officials we have in America is disheartening.
The people in districts continuing to elect these morons are just as disheartening.
Did it really take Weiner lying about federal crimes for people to realize this guy is a schmuck? I doubt it. He's always been a little tool.
If he were ever to go on a stripper killer spree or some other Criminal Minds-type storyline, it would make sense to me. The guy using his high school yearbook photo for Twitter is creepy. At least it's creepy to me. I don't trust what's in this bozo's head.

That teenage photo is creepy and I thought it was weird but you're the only person who's mentioned it. I think it's creepy when you consider he's following all these very young girls, some who are under 18.
His attitude all along has been "move along, now, nothing to see here, you're a distraction, right wingers want to destroy me". These guys never get it that it's the cover-up that kills them, not the scandal.
However, in this case he let his supporters go way out on very shaky limbs and accuse others of crimes in their efforts to defend him. The fact that he came forward at all is only due to the fact that he was well-caught and evidence he couldn't deny was being released. If those other pics and messages didn't exist or come forward, he would still be denying this and he would stll be standing by watching people skewer innocent people all over the net.
That's the real scum test - how many people you would sacrifice to save your own dumb, political a$$. Weiner is a real scum.

Had to post an update to my blog (under my profile). One of my theories did pan out. He lied. (Sorry, had to gloat a little.)
What's got the media upset is not that he lied but he got trumped by Biggovernment.com Oooh that's got to make some of them mad. That's even worse than being upstaged by a gossip magazine.
Yeah, it is bad when Politicians lie. But really was it that unexpected? Still waiting for those "lewd" pictures to show up somewhere. But if it is anything like the others, they will be extremely disappointing.

Supposedly one of the women is going to be on Hannity. Didn't take long for them to come out.

If he can lie about this, then he can lie about other things and he does not belong in the government where he has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution. The fact that he sent these messages to underage girls should result in felony charges.

I think there is so much moral decline in the entire upper echelons of our government that we don't need to try to speculate where or when the other shoe will drop. We can just be assured that it will. These people are so out of touch with the common people that they truly think they're special and the muck won't get on them. Then when the sh*t hits the fan, they're all surprised and teary-eyed and seem confused as to how this could have happened to them.
It is so sad. I don't think we can afford to sling arrows as a particular party member because come next week, there will be another one and it just may be in our own back yard. Weiner will survive. They all do. We are a stupid amoral society that pays attention only when our own wallets are affected and we've not been harmed with this. So the Weiners and Spitzers and Ensigns and Edwards' will keep on keeping on and we won't do a flippin' thing.
