Friends you must have seen the discussion, by my wife Kalyani. We will be performing marriage of Goddess http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2535725.aspx?p=0 It is over, Goddess Parvati went with her hubby God Shiva to the temple in a grand procession, the dowry we gave, will remain as property of the temple. The procession was great, about 5000 persons accompanied, there were traditional dances, folkdances and the latest record dance. Hi Professor Very festive and celebratory! I had not heard the celebration this way but can say that what I have seen usually in my culture is a church ceremony with all loved ones and caring friends. Then after some do big parties in a hall and or small party. This is quite fun in the video!

dear dada, I checked all the links and find the procession,festival. one video with a girl dancing - like simulation to the dances on that festival. Here in my country,there are also lots of festivities in every town and cities. thanks for sharing the links dada...i am still watching some related videos.
