Does Data Entry Job Pays Well?

Hi lotters,
I have heard of data entry jobs online but have not done it myself. I'd like to know if it really pays well? Or how much should one expect as an hourly rate for this type of job? What are legit sites do you know that one can sign up for data entry job? By the way has anyone heard of http://intl.earnparttimejobs.com? (this is not a ref link) Is it a legit site? I came across this in one of the sites I was browsing...I thought perhaps someone could help me.

i have done lot of searching to earn online money but as far as earning is concerned i have not earned a penny.I have read on lot of sites as they give typing work or forms to fill the details but they ask for money for giving work in the name of registration or training.
I have also seen the sites in which they donot ask for money as registration fees but ask to give minimum 50/100 referrals then they will start providing work. I always think when these are giving us work after too much of burdens imagine how will they pay us the money.
Lastly please also do me inform if you get to know the real paying site.

you are right about having to get referrals. I did sign up a couple of hours ago and that is what I found out! It seems so much and geez where in the world could I find that many people who would like to sign up? I mean isn't is sounding like a scam?

I have also found such a site which promise to give a data entry job but requires me to find 400 referral. What the!

Hi, I have done some data entry jobs in the past. It is a simple job that doesn't really require much technical knowledge and that's why there's tons of competition for this kind of jobs. The employers know this too and that's why the pay is relatively low.
In my opinion, you would be much more better off investing your time writing articles or blog contents or maybe even starting your own blog but if you're really in need of cash and have time to spare then I say why not. You'll still earn money one way or another but just keep in mind that you will have many competition for data entry jobs.

There are quite a lot of data entry job online and they claim that they will offer good paid. However, until now I haven't heard that any of them are honest to pay. So please don't waste your time in these websites.

dataentry jobs are good, they are easy if you know some of the regression testing tools like Rational Functional tester or Quality test pro, serelium, etc. I used to earn using data entry jobs, but its not easy its hard. they sent you some time a lots of data and sometime less or non.

This is the first time I hearing about this one! I'll say I will investigate it!
After seeing demo page, Why is that two data entry group and why is both entries need to be compare? Sound supicious to me although!

I have been searching for data entry jobs but I havent find any that is legitimate. I am contented posting comments here in mylot. I have free internet connection on my phone and I use mylot using opera mini. I browse the net for free and at the same time I earn money, so no worries.

There are many data entry jobs available on internet. But mostly of then is fraud. So be careful for choosing any data entry jobs. I think if there are works come from some good companies then you can earning something good otherwise you may satisfied with less amount. I think it is better if you get a data entry jobs from any good companies then you can earn something better.

Yes, the weird thing about these sites claiming to have data entry jobs is that before you get any work or assignment, whatever that may be, you'd have to refer a number of people to them. That sounds really fishy to me, to tell you the truth. Sounds like it's just a scam to get a lot of people to sign up...
