When talking about healthy living, many people will try to avoid the topic. Many people feel that engaged in healthy living mean we are unable to enjoy our life. And the saddest things is, even the really unhealthy person who have a lot of health problem refuse to engage in a healthy life. Why is it very difficult to live healthy? Are we too ignorant to care about our health or just we don’t know how to live healthy? Give your view about this.

I believe it depends for every John and Martha, for me living healthy is in the top of my list. Reasons that we should care about our health: One, It makes us a better person. Two, Being healthy is inexpensive. Three, It could prevent future diseases. Finally, It could lead to a happy lifestyle. Really there is no reason to try not to be healthy.

It is good when we put healthy living or healthy lifestyles as our priority and at the top of our list. But the problem is some unhealthy people really don't care. And the last things they want to hear is someone talki about changing their lifestyles and live a healthy livestyles eventhough they constantly seeking doctor treatment for their health issue.

Then those unhealthy people don't even love themselves.

They love themselves but they love their unhealthy lifestyle as well.

The few replies so far answers the question! People are very ignorant as to what contributes to health. They don't educate themselves and will eventually pay dearly for their ignorance. They don't realize that the right thing is better after a bit of a struggle and will pay off in the long run.

Well said. Those who takes their health for granted will pay once they start losing it.

Galatians 6:7 King James Version (KJV) 7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. This old principle has many applications. It can also be applied to our health. In general, the more healthy things we do, the better our health. The more harmful things we do to ourselves, the worst our health.

It has been said that health is real wealth. But when one is young hardly we think or care for health while we attend or or for enjoyment. We wake up only when we undergo prolonged ailment and face helplessness. Yes then we cry. Very few will be cautious for their health.

It is good when some of those realise their mistakes and start living healthy. but some are just too ignorant and kept doing what they do that is unhealthy living. I guess it is really hard when we are not used too is it.

Taking care of ourselves and living in a healthy lifestyle is really a matter of self disciplined.People sometimes neglect their health because they are depending on their immune system. It's never too early and too late to live in a healthy life style.People should realize as soon as possible that living in a healthy lifestyle would help them to enjoy and live life longer. We should be responsible in taking care of ourselves because we can't blame others if we are going to be sick and when we are on a life threatening situation.

I agree it is all about self disciple. I have a lot of friend who does have hypertension and pre-diabetic, but they just didn't care much about their lifestyle and eating habit. Some even on emdication and close monitoring but they still reluctant to change. I guess it really a difficult choice to make and requires a lot of effort and discipline.
