Do just use any lotion brands to get your skin moisturize or dehydrated?

Does it really matter to you to use only lotion brand you been known for a long time. It may be the expensive brand or cheapest brand. but they function the same way to moisturize your skin, making it softer, firm and nice to touch. Since i heard that some say they are not particular in buying any lotion brand as long as they do have the capability to moisturize your skin. but some buy those non greasy and they differ on skin types. Do just buy any lotion whatever brand or you have your own brand of choice. what your reason..

I prefer to use aloe vera on my skin. It never makes me feel greasy or anything. Also it's 100 percent natural! So you can reap all the good benefits without chemicals.

yes, there is aloe Vera based lotion and also a real aloe Vera plant where you could cut the sap and have the content put on your skin till it get moisturize. though, in some places, it s hard to find aloe vera plant and most use brand use aloe vera containing as part of the ingredients in there lotion making. so aloe vera is really effective and stay to use it when you feel most comfortable.

When i started getting older, i become picky with my lotion. A particular brand that my cousin-in-law brought me a few years ago, got my attention. It was non-greasy and it stays on my skin for 24 hours. I tried scratching my arm with the lotion, and saw that it didn't form a white line (indication that it's dry and the lotion didn't hydrate it that much). However, when it was consumed, i tried looking at it in the supermarkets but to no avail. Now, i see to it that my lotion has the 24/7 indication, because i know it can hydrate my skin well.

that ok. some women too does not like it and they like the natural skin. but, other aspire to have a flawless and white. maybe, your already have a white skin or just a natural Asian skin. so whitening may not be need or just the saying just be comfortable in your skin and just love it the way they are...

yes, a long term lotion for more use is need by most women and men to maintain a young, vibrant and sot skin. aside from moisturizing, the lotion must be of good quality not just based on well known brand, but because of its potency. i do not like greasy lotion too, and i usually like a non-scented lotion with many benefits such as moisturizer and with combined with skin whitening solution too.

I don't like a lotion that has a whitening effect. Being that, it has additional chemicals that can prove harmful to the skin once used in a prolonged period. My lotion is purely a hydrating one.

I haven't used lotion in years and the result of that is I have no fingerprints. I had to get fingerprinted for a job and they couldn't find any usable prints. They said it was because my hands have dried out because of not moisturizing them.

yes, i myself could not believe, that it is possible knowing that every human have different fingerprint. i also thought all have there own and having not apply lotion would also cause it, as far as i know different people have different fingerprint and they become visible depending on the kind of work that they did, such as those in manual labor or office work. they both show lines though it is more visible with those involving hard labor.

The cheaper lotions do not keep me soft very long, I usually have to stick with Olay Quench, Dove CreamOil, etc.

that s very true there are many influx of cheap lotion in the market from unknown sources. some are imitation and the quality is not good. while expensive lotion and those moderately priced lotion always keep their promises to clients giving them ultimate moisturizing with different properties which keep the skin soft and supple to the touch.

Hehehe. To tell you the truth, I don't buy lotion. I have enough lotion that's been given to me as gifts by friends, relatives, and co-workers. =P So naturally, they are all different.

wow, good for you all your lotion is free. that really a lot of saving in your part. even men also use lotion though women are most prone to use all kinds of beauty products. your very lucky to have a generous friends while i could only count my friend they likely thrifty so they are not giving me beauty or cosmetic products but usually chocolates and some little stuffs.

Well, actually, I don't get a lot of them either. I mean, I only get one or two every now and then as a Christmas gift or something. So, I wouldn't really say that my friends are very generous about it. Hehehe. =P See, first of all, I don't really use lotion much. So the ones that are given to me last for such a long, long time. I think a bottle would last me years. No kidding. =P

I use my own lotion brand of choice. Because my skin is very sensitive. Every brand is not good for my skin. If i use the other brand lotion it makes rash with my skin.

yes, that very true as there are many lotion in the market in great competition with each other and content different formula. it is a good thing you know the type of lotion you need which good for your skin. there are hypoallergenic formulation which prevent irritation and gives protection against people with sensitive skin.

I take alot of surveys and receive quite a few lotion samples. I try them and see if I like them. If I do like them, I will continue using them.

that is good. it surely gives you a lot of saving. and samples is good way to compare the effectiveness of the different lotion brand. it gives you enough comparison such as in pricing and to the skin is tested if the product really work for you or not. using them prove that you really develop loyalty to the products and the best one suited to your skin.

I am using Johnsons Rich and Creamy lotion. this one makes my skin feel hydrated. There are other parts of my body that dries fast I use it mostly there. I also hate my skin after exposing under the sun, so it is a must that I have to put lotion in it, before I go under the sun. I also drink 6 to 8 glasses of water. I have to do it everyday to keep me hydrated and even my skin. I do not have to put lotion anymore by drinking 8 to 10 glasses everyday.

that s a good lotion which are thick and creamy just like what you are using. though, other prefer to buy lotion which not so thick but just enough to cover the skin, giving enough suppleness and smooth to the touch. a skin get aged fast when it is not moisturize or lubricate. so t is good to put lotion and find the brand which really suit the skin type.

No I prefer to buy a name brand when it comes to buying lotion because not every brand agrees with my skin, and if its gong on my body or face I have to be careful With that said I don't mind buying a store brand products occasionally if its something else, but not if its going on my skin For example products with SPF 15 sunscreen in it causes my skin to brake out, so I cant put just anything or any ingredients on my face or body because my skin gets irate, so if I get to comfortable with using certain products. normal I don't have a problem with brake outs I never did, but if put anything weird or strong on my face or body its not pretty lets just say haha, and no they don't all work the same at least not on me.

yes, most skin lotion have their own skin types applicable to different people and those brand lotion tend to live on it reputation as something credible. so many clients have devoted a lot of time to become a loyal fan of certain brand just like you did. myself test other lotion and they are greasy, light and not really moisturize the skin, so t s good to buy only the most trusted brand.

I use a particular brand especially in winters. The rest of the year there is no need for me to use a moisturizer.I use this particular brand not because I am particular about brands but because it is effective for me.I require to use in winters because the skin becomes dry then.
• Philippines

yes, definitely dry skin is always the problem every summer because of a hot day and in winter because of the humidity. a good lotion with a lot of creamy substances which could soften a dry skin is a good things to use. any lotion brand promise good result though as comparison. you could try many but only those with good result.

I don't really put lotion but I don't think it's right practice to put on just whatever brand on you. You might get rashes or something if you do. Consulting a professional dermathologist is a good way to start.

yes, that true as you mention and that why i only buy lotion whom i had known for years. there times try the new launched lotion product in my wrist or hands and observe if i get irritation. if not then it must be good. also even if i use cheap lotion. i only put it in cover areas of my skin such as in the thigh and those special lotion with whitening properties is put on my arms and legs.

I like to vary the lotions I use. I have never used very much or been very consistent in their use, except in the winter. I have a theory that different brands add different ingredients and perhaps it's good for my skin to get a variety. I know the basics are usually the same and it's the scents/perfumes that are added that affect cost but still I like the variations thinking I might get more benefit from using different brands. I especially like to try to get different brands that are on sale.

yes, that may be true with different weather condition. we need to adjust the type f lotion to use such as during summer or dry season. we need to use lotion with oil based or those with creamy moisturizing content, so we would not get dry. also during winter or colder season. the skin react differently. so other need a lot of moisturizer and so on..

I once heard an eminent dermatologist say that Vaseline is the only thing that truly makes any difference to the moisture level in the skin. I think it was just his personal opinion. I'm sure this claim would be disputed by others. I actually use a product that contains Vaseline but that is because it does a good job and isn't sticky and horrible!

i already try vaseline and it is a good moisturizing lotion which boost different formula from the other lotion brand. though, i prefer lotion from brand of nivea, dove, jergens and olay. they have the most thick and really moisturize dry skin. though, it is not fit those with oly skin. they need to find a skin care lotion which could be tolerate y their skin.

I already tried a lot of lotions brands and used to change every month to a new one, but when I started using the body lotion of Victoria's Secret I never more bought any other brand. They are just perfect for me, they let the skin smooth and smells really good, it's hard to pick my favorite scent since I like a lot Strawberries and Champagne and Bery Kiss.

Not all lotions are the same. I use Aveeno. It doesn't have any smell, so it doesn't irritate or further dry out my skin and it actually works. It isn't watered down like some lotions are either, which truly makes a difference. I tried the off-brand, but it didn't do its job at all and it left me with dry, itchy skin. It is also not greasy. Aveeno is great and I highly recommend it. Also, they do a lot of great rebates and coupons.

yes, that s a good moisturizer it truly nourish the skin and it never dry out as compare with other brand. good thing, men and women need to look after a lotion or moisturizer suited to their skin types so they would feel comfortable in using it. with coupon and discount the product you save helps you save a lot rather than spending on buying lotion which are expensive but not suited to your liking.

I'm not really particular with a specific brand, as long as it's organic and it's non greasy. I'm pretty much satisfied with Vaseline lotion and a Body Butter from Human Nature. It really makes my skin soft, moist and nice to touch. I can actually see the difference from the time I started using it. It doesn't really have to be expensive and it really depends if your skin is not sensitive to the ingredients.

yes, that also i heard with other lotion user that they are not particular with brand name as long as it really did a good work on their skin by keeping it soft and moisturize. they opt to use even the cheaper one as the skin is very important to be moisturize than never put any lotion at all, as the skin keen to keep tough and dry when never been moisturize for longer period.

I think it's important to use a good moisturizer. Some are much too greasy and can cause breakouts some do not moisturize enough and are not worth the money. i have used many different types of lotions and in my opinion Oil of Olay and Neutrogena are the best lotions for any skin type. they come in many varieties specially made for the face, hands or body and are very safe to use. They may be more expensive than other brands, but in the long run are worth it since the results are really great.

the greasy one i think is not suitable to those with oily skin as it tend to attract more dirt as it stick on the face and other areas of the skin expose to dust. also those cheap lotion is not of good quality but not all as there are cheap ;lotion too who could do what the expensive lotion could do. they are good to moisturize skin as it nourish the skin, soften the skin and also the scent is mild.

I actually really like to use aloe vera gel all year round. It has a healing effect and I trust it. It is also a lot cheaper than lotion, though only available in the summer so I have to stock up on it during the summer. It can be a little slimy for a few minutes until it dries, but I like it.

yes aloe vera is good. in fact i have a aloe vera plant but i just never know really the exact use where to get the benefit in a real pant. i just seen aloe vera as part of the content of many lotion, shampoo and other product. so the known use is to make the hair shiny and long and to the skin make it smooth.i also know a company which sell aloe vera as a herbal plant where they get benefit drinking its juice. aloe vera is such a good plant.

I have really sensitive skin, so I find it necessary to moisturize my skin with lotion after every shower/bath. I use Aveeno which isn't found at the dollar store sadly :( but it's because cheaper brands tend me give me acne by over moisturizing or not moisturizing it enough. Skin is so important to keep clean and beautiful!

i read about it and mostly featured in magazines which my sister buy. i think it is a great lotion composed of different healthful ingredients making the skin nice to touch and smooth.keeping your skin look younger and revitalize as new.skin that are frequently moisturize have the tendency to be smooth and it is so nice to use only lotion you trust so you get no allergic reactions.
