In the past, some discussions started by me were included in mylot digest of the day, but unfortunately I always deleted those messages consisting of topics started by me from the inbox of my email. But from now, I have decided to preserve those messages in the inbox of my email that would consist of topics started by me in mylot digest of the day. I think it would definitely give me pleasure in future when I will again go through them. Am I right? What do you do under such circumstances when you find any discussion started by you has been included in mylot digest of the day?

I have a folder called MyLot Favs. Anytime I make the digest, I put the email notification in that folder.

A very good idea but how have you made it? Another mylotter also has been preserving them like you, but what's the technique of building that folder?

Yeah, I do keep then in a special folder. As you someday I would like to look back and see what was happening at the time. I save all digest in a folder whether there are any discussions and or mine.
Someday I may want to go through each one and perhaps if I did not respond to those discussions, I may be able to do so at some point.

How have you made that special folder? Would you describe the procedure?

In my email filter setting I set up 2 special folders and they contain
1. Discussions - which are new discussions started by my listed friends.
2. MyLot - which are the new comments and or responses.
Therefore daily as they come in to my email they automatically go to the folders. You can do that by going to your email preferences then select filter.
The Third folder I manually created, I just when to my inbox and selected Create New Folder. There I manually select any discussions that I do not respond to and the digests. As one day I may have lots of time on my hands and or feel differently about the discussions. So I save them there so I don't have to view them daily.
You can create a New Folder and label it My Digests or whichever easy way for you to remember. You can also create a filter for myLot digest and they too can go there.

I keep the e-mail if I have 2 or more discussions in the digest. If it's one or none, I delete it.

It hasn't happened to me yet, but I'm sure I'll be somewhat proud if it ever does. I don't think I'd save the emails, though. I don't save any. It takes up inbox space and makes it take a bit longer to load.

I never have found that my discussions were actually in the Mylot Digest. But I have heard from others that they have seen them there. I would just feel gratified and that I hadn't started a good topic. I am not out for any kind of fame on here or anything. I like to think other members enjoy what I write.

I have only made the Mylot Digest once so far! it happened not all ago! It was a discsussion on my nephew in prison who somehow got on Facebook! Since then I have been on that list and I hope I am again! I do get envious when some people get on that list all the time!

When I was a newbie these things excited me. Later when I saw some topics of some users getting deleted which had found a place in the myLot Digest I lost interest. In fact I unchecked the notification to receive myLot Digest notifications in my inbox.

I'm always excited to receive MyLot Digest. That's because I would like to see my discussions enlisted in the Hot Topics of the day. I've accomplished that several times and I'd like to see more of it in the future. It's always nice to contribute something in this community.
