With such recess economy, it is getting harder and harder to ask bank to borrow money to start your own business, even though you have a creative idea, and you definitely need some money to start this project of your own. Besides getting financial support from your bank, why not think about those crowd funding sites, such as kickstarter.com, you can borrow money, or get funded by them if one of your creative ideas submitted was approved, and they will be interested in it. Another place you can consider to look into might be kiva.com, and you can borrow money from a large group of people who willing to lend you money in dice or bit. There many source to get funding online too, and they are not loan shark like those credit card, or pay - day loan.

Also available are government grants and in some areas of the United States, there are also loans given by the government for small business startup. Check out gov.org or the state website where you want to start the business. Potentially helpful may be the city you wish to start the business in. They may be able to help you find a loan, and also forgive part of the property taxes for a building. There are many ways to get help; it is just knowing how to get it and where to go. That is a job in itself.

That is nice to know. I have never heard of them before. I hate debt and borrowing. I do not like owing people and paying interest either.

Incredible idea! But i think they also much prefered to borrow or lend money from bank or financial loan company which they don't require creative ideas to start your own business. However, there's nothing will lose you if you tried to go in that websites you have stated above. This will be helpful to those who wants to invest for business. Have you ever heard of someone who already borrowed by this websites? any proof? or testimonials. Quite interesting. I think I'm gonna use to it.
