What is that tiny number in the star beside the user name? Star color?

Hi! I always notice there's a tiny number on the star beside my name every time a participate in the discussion. Last time I checked it was a 7 and now it's a 6. What does that mean? Also, is there a meaning to the corresponding star color? Thanks for all your replies.

Hello Karagala,
There is a correspondence between the tiny number and the star color. I don't know who chose the correspondence but a blue star always has an 10 inside, as well as a yellow star has an 8 and so on.
That number shows how your activity is seen by other myLotters. They rate your activity (discussions, responses, comments, photos) and the result is your reputation. The higher the number inside your star, the better.

It seems that some of your activities here were not to many myLotters liking.
Unfortunately, not all myLotters use the Discussion Rating System properly.
Once I start a discussion against smoking and my reputation dropped in only one day! It seems smokers didn't like my topic...
I think you should do the same I did: continue your good activity here and you'll see your reputation going up where it belongs.

Maybe the smokers we're not too open-minded. I really don't mind if they dislike my opinions. If They dislike it, the rule is "Everyone is entitled to his opinion." There's nothing we can do about the liking part. We can't please everybody. I don't mind about the ratings anymore. I'm just having fun here. Thanks very much for pointing this out to me. Now I am aware.

Aww karagala, your reputation seems to have decreased for some reason. Not to worry, the process is automated. Post in longer, detailed comments/discussions and your reputation will surely shoot up to a 10. Cheers.

Hi karagala star is reflection of your reputation 
in MYLOT which is decided by other mylotters as they do rate your responses.MYLOT has the rating on scale 1~10 which you find it in the star, a tiny number.
And as per the rating MYLOT has decided color codes like 7 for white,10 for blue,8 for yellow,red for 9 etc.
If your tiny number in the star reduces that means your reputation slipped & if it increases that means your reputation rise on MYLOT.
