What to do when you are about to punch someone in the face?

Let's set the violence aside. What would you do rather than beat someone up? I personally would LOVE to put my hands on someone who thinks they know everything about everything meanwhile they can't even spell words correctly.. but I am trying to avoid this today. Do you try to talk it out? Do you ignore them for the rest of the day?

I'd remove myself from the person and the situation. I do get very angry with some people, although my response would never be one of violence. I'd rather walk away and live another day, plus let that person get on with their life in their own way and for me to get on with my life in my own way.

if the swing is a telegraphic type then have a bridge to bridge contact of the forearms... while neutralizing to where the swings directions in order to lead his power into emptiness... and in absolute zero, you may push him slightly in order to create a gap while preparing to run away in order to not continue the fight situations.....

The problem is only when we compete with the other person. If u ignore the other person and move around there may not be issues. But when you come across this situation among friends - u want to act smart and your friend will try to act smarter--and there is competition for impressing some person or a group of people--like this --it can go on then problem will be there. In our age we just ignore. Your age - you may not be able to ignore and u may consider it prestigious. Spelling words along will not do. People should know how to get along good people, bad people,, helping persons ..etc/

the idea was to create varied discussion and not refer any person.

If it's a bad argument where I know I'm going to blow my top sky-high and I REALLY want to hit someone... then I remove myself from the situation. If it still needs resolving then I'll come back after I've cooled off. Can't say I've ever REALLY wanted to punch someone in the middle of an argument. I've wanted to punch someone while driving in the car (cause they can't drive in their cars... lol) but rather than go on a road rage rampage I turn on some calming classical music.

I suppose it will depend on the mood at the time. If I'm in a patient mood, I will probably try to talk it out. But if I'm not in the mood for talking, I will probably just tell them sorry, but I'm not in the mood right now so please don't bother me... . I'm not one to resort to violence though. I don't want to hurt my hands. =P

It's a little OTT to want to punch someone, just because they can't spell! People who think they know everything annoy those of us that really do ;)

I usually walk away.Even if they're still talking, i just turn around and leave them mid sentence.
