Truth Scares Palin Haters Away!

C'mon Palin haters... where did you go? Or more to the point, where is your big victory with the Palin emails? What were you hoping to find there? I guess nothing because you all sure got silent about them awfully quick! What did we all learn from them? Well, we learned that a lot of Palin haters were every bit as vicious as we thought. The death threats to her and her daughters were as vile in private as they were in public. We also learned that there is no reason why anyone should wonder if she says what she means. Her words in private were pretty much the same as her words in public... Yeah, that's nothing we would want in a politician. We also learned that, for all their blathering on, the left and RINOs can't use the truth against Sarah Palin. In fact, the truth only served to show that she is honest, forthright and willing to stand up for what she believes in. (no wonder the Palin haters can't stand her). We learn that she did, in fact, stand up to big oil. When they tried to play games with her, refusing to drill where they could, hoping to gain control of more tracts, she simply told them that they would lose the ones they had if they didn't get drilling... and wow, check that out.. they started drilling. You would think the left and RINOs would love a governor that did that.. and actually, when she did it, she was hailed as a hero... yeah, by the same left that now celebrates her getting threats of rape. So, where are you Palin haters? What happened? Truth caught your tongue? Now my challenge to the people who worked so hard to get Palin's emails released, where are the same calls for Obama's, Pelosi's and Reid's? I bet the last thing you want is THOSE released... unless, of course, you're honest. The honest thing would be to work just as hard to see those as you worked to see Palin's.. but then again, I'm not expecting honesty from most of you... I'm expecting you to be the little, hateful, deceitful folks you have proven to be.

We're laughing too hard over her quitting her bus tour halfway through (now known as the Iquitarod).

http://conservatives4palin.com/2011/06/obamas-dishonorable-gaffe.html So tell me, why is the press so worried about a private citizen like Sarah Palin when our president can make this mistake and NOTHING is said? Seems their focus is all out of whack? Here's a link to Pres. Obama's latest gaffe that went unnoticed by the press. http://conservatives4palin.com/2011/06/obamas-dishonorable-gaffe.html Or these? (posted on Palin's Facebook after she was attacked for her 'gaffe'. http://www.rightwingbob.com/weblog/archives/9712 My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that… I don't often agree with you Metallion, but I at least thought you were an intelligent man.

I must say it's pretty crazy that amongst the, what was it? 21,000 emails they couldn't find a single one that provided any dirt on her. Seriously, I don't know ANYONE who could write 21,000 emails without something incriminating slipping out and that includes me. There were literally ARMIES of reporters, bloggers, and left wing loons with just too much time on their hands combing through this crap. Still... nothing. You won't hear any apologies Ted. I don't even think you'll hear ANYTHING from the left aside from a few accusations that the bad emails were hidden away or something.

Well they went through her emails desperately hoping they'd find some kind of dirt, scandal, or even criminal activity. They found nothing even close. Privacy is a different when using a government email. The Freedom of Information Act makes most government information and communications, including emails, available if requested by the public. I've been working in libraries for the last 8 years and every email I send or receive through my library email account could be made public via a FOIA request. I doubt anyone would ever want to see my boring work emails, but occasionally public unions request such things.

"Well if that is true. Why don't we have a look at all the Bush e mails?" That's a whole other world. There's way too much in those emails that could compromise national security. The same goes for most federal correspondence at the executive branch. Most of what you'd get would be heavily redacted. Still, you're free to submit a request. "United nations e mmals.." Not part of the US government, FOIA does not apply. Same thing goes for CFR. Seriously though, if you want to find the dirt you can submit a request yourself and see what you come up with. http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/nsa/foia/howtofoia.html

I'd settle for the emails that aren't security related. Not all Executive Branch emails are classified.

It has been a mystery from the beginning why the media attacked Palin so furiously. She was hailed as a very successful governor. As for your challenge...you sure picked 3 of the best prevaricators around! It would make interesting reading indeed!

Looking for the bright side - at least they were kept busy for a weekend. I find it endless amusement the fear she seems to strike in people. People have all kinds of bad things to say about her but absolutely NOTHING to back it up! Never a dull moment...

I don't know that I have ever heard somebody refer to her as "soft". Her looks have no bearing on her knowledge or ability or morals.

They should all wish the same tactics aren't used against them. I bet none of those people could come out of an email search as pristine as Sarah did. She is real. She can't be bought and put in any interest group's pocket.

I doubt any of the current lefty leaders would even allow a release of their emails... no matter what the law says. They would make sure none of their emails were released. I think it's high time we saw Obama, Pelosi and Reid's emails.

Good question, Ted: where are these Palin "haters" and WHO are they? To be honest, I'm not sure I know any; there certainly aren't any true Palin HATERS here on myLot, at least not that I've come across. Granted, there are those who don't particularly like her and even more who wouldn't ever support her for President, but that's not exactly "hate". is it? If you want to talk about someone who is hated by myLotters in huge numbers, let's talk about President Obama! You know it's true and few here try to hide it, they write it proudly day after day. Those who don't come right out and use the words, "I hate him," use other words that make their feelings pretty clear as they write things nobody would write about someone they didn't totally despise. OK, sorry for getting off-topic, Ted, but you know how I feel about all the hate talk, what can I say...lol? About those e-mails, to be honest I paid little to no attention to that whole silly story. I sure didn't and DON'T have time to read through thousands of e-mail messages in the hopes of finding something "damning". I don't think the liberals in the media "hate" Sister Sarah, I don't think they really give much thought to her personally one way or the other; she just keeps on providing a story for them and they've gotten to the point where they can't seem to just forget about her. I just wish she'd go away already or get herself another reality show which I can not watch since I don't watch any of that garbage featuring celebrities that are just "famous for being famous". Sorry, but when Bill Maher gets away with calling her a "tw@t" and the trolls at the Democrat Underground constantly call for her to get raped, and would consider the rapist a national hero... there is hate. When she is singled out and news organizations spend who knows how much, paying people to pour through her emails.. there is hate. Can you name one politician, in either party, that has had every email sent while they were in office scrutinized? Can you think of any politician who has had to deal with rumors that she faked a pregnancy to cover up her daughter's out of wedlock pregnancy? Can you think of any woman in any office who has been called every name the PC crowd has called to ban, without a peep from the feminist movement? NO! That's called HATE.

First of all, Bill Maher is a COMEDIAN who makes fun of just about everyone at one time or another. I don't pay much attention to the Democratic Underground and I rarely bother with comments by readers on any site but don't tell me there aren't hateful trolls saying hateful things about Democrats on the right wing blogs like WND. Calling for anyone to get raped is indefensible, by the way, so don't think I'm defending actions like that, I'm just saying they're in a small minority. The same goes for the pregnancy rumors, it was a tiny handful of bloggers or whatever you want to call them that started that nonsense. To answer your question directly, of course I can't think of any other politician who's had to deal with rumors like that but I can't think of any politician who's been in a similar situation. I don't know why they went after her e-mails and I already stated I thought that was silly but not quite as silly as anyone who took the birther or truther garbage seriously. Anyway, I was referring to myLotters when I said nobody here hates her and that many hate our President and other members of his party. Do you really think Sarah's been called worse names than the President or even the First Lady here on myLot? Annie

The media response was just funny itself. I might have wrote a blog about the media's exaggerated response to the email release. Jimmy Stewart made fun of them better than I did. It was quite funny.

I doubt you'll get response from the left--or if you do, they will rant on and on about the right and ignore the question. They don't like the truth because it's not comfortable for them to face. I've admired Sarah Palin since I first heard about the Alaskan governor who was about to deliver a child who had Down Syndrome--who was encouraged to kill the child before birth because of its defect but who refused, saying God gave her that life to cherish and love. I knew then that she was a good person. Those email just highlight that goodness. The far left doesn't like good people.
