Why does my mylot page time out?

Hi PointlessQuestions, This used to happen to me as well, but for some reason... it just stopped, and now I am able to keep myLot open all day without having to sign back in. Unfortunately, I am not sure why it was happening before, or why it suddenly stopped though. Maybe you could try clearing your cache and cookies? That may work... but I can't say for sure.

I don't know why this happens.. no other site times out except for my bank and it is supposed to. We will see. My phone stays plugged in to mylot all the time, so I do most of my lotting from my phone anyway... but it is annoying when I am at the computer.

It was the same for me. It was only myLot that done it, and of course PayPal... but it's supposed to as well. But you could try clearing your cache and cookies. It may work and it may not. If it doesn't, then hopefully it will stop on it's like it did for me, or someone here on myLot can be of assistance to you. ;)

Hi PQ I am signed in to myLot 24/7 on my laptop.

Your problem could be that you are already signed in on your iphone. That's why you can't stay 24/7 on your computer. Try signing out from your iphone and see if you stay signed in 24/7 on your computer. Maybe just a test to see if I am correct.

I never have to sign back in here at Mylot when I leave the page sit. I wander if it has something to do with your internet settings? You should not have to keep logging back in. That is weird.

I don't know how this happens. Maybe when I signed up there was something I checked.. I just don't know. No other site does this.

I have never experienced this but have heard several others who do. See I clear my cookies and cache 2 - 3 times a day so I think that has helped me staying logged in. In fact I have walked away from my PC over night and still come back to it and be logged in. I use CCleaner to clear out my cookies, maybe you might want to try it also? Or you can do it from the Tools -- Options and clear them from there.

Yeah I have seen others ask as well and find later that doing so had helped, hope so for PQ as it has to be quite annoying to have to log in several time.

I hope it works for PointlessQuestions as well. It is indeed not a fun thing to have to log back into myLot every few minutes. :/

Hi HWG, that is also what I suggested... that she should try clearing her cache and cookies. I wasn't sure if it would work at all, but now that someone else has suggested it as well... it makes me think that maybe I was right! Maybe this will fix the problem. ;)

I sometimes experience the same thing. Sometimes I think it's my intermittent connection but when I check on other sites, I don't get logged out. I guess that's just how it is. Sometimes mylot just signs you out automatically when you have not been idle for a long time.

To the Person behind PQ, Hi! Why don't you try signing off your mylot account from your mobile first? I suspect, that might be a possible reason. Mylot may not accept two the same account names being signed in at once with two different machines. Or, try to discover your settings. This problem has not happened to me so far although that's what I suspect. Thanks Dennis

I don't know where the settings are. My mobile stays signed in all the time. You could be right about the two names signed in at once. My mobile doesn't get signed out though.

some sites take longer to load up than others do.

It doesn't have anything to do with loading. I will be logged in and in a matter of minutes it will time out. I will have to sign in again. But on my phone it stays logged in. Indent have a problem with my phone.

That's odd. I haven't signed on mylot since the first time I signed in on my computer, it never makes me sign in again because I never signed out. I think it's just your computer going idle and possibly losing your internet connection.
