I guess this is really weird, last night while I am near my home town from work, I suddenly feel dizzy, headache, and I wanted to vomit that I always feel almost everyday. After work I always meet my bf somewhere and we rushed to my house to spend time with him. A few mins. after I told him I am not feeling well, he told me that he's dizzy and wanted to puke too, as if he feels what I am feeling that time and I am a bit relieve from that illness and getting better a few mins. later. He said that I always passed on illness that I felt everytime we are together and it not happens only now, it happens almost every illness I felt except for fever. I joke him that maybe we are twins, many people says we look like siblings cause we have resemblance. Have any of you guys experience the same with me or anyone will explain why and how this happen? Would love to hear from you! thanks guys!

There are some things that cannot be explained but it happens. When I was staying in a dormitory in college with my best friend, our menstrual cycle adjusted to happen almost at the same time. When we departed, the cycle changed too. In my past relationship, my boyfriend and i felt almost the same thing even though we're too far from each other. Same things happened to us that we thought it weird. We thought of each other almost at the same time and we would suddenly send messages to each other at exactly the same time, sending the same messages and it was really kind of weird. And like you we get sick almost at the same time. I guess when we are closely attached to somebody, our body and mind are also linked. I cannot explain it but it does happen!

Wow, so you have the same experience with me. Do you believe in "balis or usog" too? I always make him "balis" too, I guess that's the reason I passed on to him my illnesses. I agree with you that when we are so closed to someone, there is a tendency that you will have the same habit, mind and even illnesses, even if it's not contagious. It's really unexplainable!

I do believe in usog hahaha! Well we are from the same country and somehow it's something that couldn't be explained scientifically but it's true.

It could be just psychological. Because you are not feeling well , the sluggishness you feel could affect him also, making him feel that too. However, it could also be that, you ate the same food, which could have triggered the illness.

Maybe Psychological too and a few chance of same food that we ate. I also wonder if it's because of Filipino superstitious belief called "balis". If you are are not Filipino it's very hard to understand how it is happened and I also do not understand how did I pass on to him and why I make him ill when we are together. If he's not feeling well while with me, I just put my finger in my tongue and get a bit of my saliva then tap it on his skin and a few mins. he will burp and will feel ok little by little. Hard to believe but it works a hundred times to him.

I know what you mean by "balis". We Fllipinos really do have some beliefs like that. Here in our province, some people believe in that also We call it "sibang" here. The cure is how you just narrated. Well, i do respect that belief because some would really be healed doing that.

Oh my God, don't tell me somehow your guys are related. I am just kidding. May or may not, you guys aren't that closed in blood related right? I guess, it was just a rumor, and you shouldn't worry about it with your bf.

Absolutely not haha! , but he always told me that I pass on my illness to him and he always complaint. I've told him once that he now knows how it feels like to be me.

related or not, i guess there's no way you could transmit illnesses like feeling dizzy and sorts unless it;s a virus, right. i guess it;s just a psychological effect that your unease feeling diverted to worrying about your boyfriend feeling uncomfortable at the same time.

Maybe, you know what's weird about it is even if I don't told him I feel dizzy or hungry or not feeling well, he will told me that I do not feel well cause he is too! He already know it cause he will feel sick suddenly, I told him too that he copies my illnesses.
