I went to the cinema last night with my fiancee to see Bridesmaids. It is thee funniest film I have seen this year so far!! I swear I was nearly crying with laughter. Megan, who actually plays Suki in one of my favourite shows, The Gilmore Girls, is a complete and utter joy to watch, and she has gone up even further in my estimation as a fantastic actress!! I'm looking forward to going to see it again! Just.. utterly fantastic!! I would recommend to anyone!! and DEF not a chick flick in any way shape or form!!

Despite your insistence that it is NOT a chick flick, I am very much thinking it is. Are there any blood and guts on show?.... any violent scenes?.... any car chases? If there is even the merest hint of a kiss or canoodle, then I am classing it as a chick flick. So there!

there is a hint of a kiss and a canoodle, at the start. one of the girls, is getting a good seeing to by her "boyfriend" .. and it's hilarious, and in NO WAY romantic.. in actual fact, you don't see the brides husband for the majority of the film! and there is an extremely graphic scene where the girls all get food poisioning and the actually start vomiting all over each other, and one needs the toilet so badly she ends up using a sink.. one also, has no option, but to "go" in the street.. does that sound like a chick flick? my favourite films are Schindlers list, the Shawshank Redemption, The collecter, Taken, Vantage point.. films like that, and i HATE chick flicks, i only went to see this because my partner is a major rom-com lover.. and i was practically dragged, BUT it was the best place i have ever been dragged to, because it was utterly hilarious!!

"there is a hint of a kiss and a canoodle, at the start."
I knew it! lol
However, after reading the rest of your description of the movie, I am even less inclined to watch it now. Vomit and other gross acts are not what I would consider entertainment. I can get that here any Friday or Saturday night after the local lasses have had one too many. Yuck.
Mind you, your favourite films are more to my liking, so I should give it a chance at least. I have to admit I do love a titter or two, so here's hoping......

Oh , really ? Good that you had enjoyed it so much. In fact, I have not been to movie theatres for quite a long time now. Just watching movies on the TV once in a while when I have some time. Yeah, watching movies in a theatre is quite entirely more enjoyable. Thank you for your recommendation. I will try to find the time.

No have not got to see it yet but the previews looked good. I usually wait til movies go to our 1.50 show so I can see a movie a week over only getting to see 1 a month for the price of a first run movie. Thanks for the input I will put it on my list to see.
