It is nice to spend time with friends and family. My granddaughter had gram and great gram watch lil Owen and they went to the ponds over at the park this evening. Then they came back and took pictures of all of us setting in the yard acting like lunatics. It was really nice. My granddaughter has been in such a bad way lately with the suicide attempt, apartment burning, etc. It was nice to see her smiling and laughing and being silly instead of in tears and a total wreck.
Monday my grandson will fire off his fireworks. I got him loads of fireworks this year. Then my daughter and grandson will ride their bikes down to the park and watch the city display there in the late evening.
Are you having a nice week-end? Any plans?

hi celticeagel oh how nice for all of you and all the generations,
thats lovely. I am glad to hear your granddaughter was having funand laughing, thats good to hear seeing how bad things were before; Family
can be so much fun and so healing too. we used to set off our own fireworks too bu t here in Orange 'County now they are prohibited and 'you have to go to a certified safe city sponsored fire works display. three years ago and back my son and I always took two blankets and something to drink and sat on the grass lot at the Tustin high school and watched the fireworks display; but now the only fireworks I see on the Fourth are the ones I see on my computer. But on a more cheery note my son is working on putting in Windows xp I think he called it on my computer this weekend so I will get rid of my windows 2000 . Windows 2000 has begun to make loading any program a time consuming thing. I know nothing about the new Windows xp but I will learn.lol.this is jus wonderful as its been 2000 now for 11 years. time for the new now.And its always good
to learn new things and ways of doing computer stuff too.

Very healing. Did me a world of good. I was going into a bad slump and that girl pulled me right out of it. Seeing her and her friends fooling around was so cute.
Uploading Windows XP is time consuming. I guess it is good to do it occasionally. Not sure why. Can kind of understand it though. Windows 7 is great. It is the one that came after XP. I really like the format.
Hope you have a nice weekend and Holday.

Guess it will be just another day for me. unless my grandson has a ballgame. It stays pretty quiet around my house most of the time.Y'all have a good one, be careful w/the fireworks.

my 2000 has now begun to make loading anything a night mare. took five whole minutes to download this discussion and its been that way lately on all the various sites and here I am on cable internet fast jack Rabbit cable. I am so excited. wow. He has a lot more to do to day and maybe
tomorrow too with all the software,He could not just start from scratch for various reasons.I am so lucky to have my own built in computer geek

Yes, what a relief. I hope it lasts. I think she is in with some good friends now so that helps. They sure were all silly last night. Thanks.

I think when a person holds down a full time job they need to have days like that. Whims are a good thing as long as they are done in small incraments.

We have no plans of spending our weekend anywhere. Classes here have just started and the kids are busy working on their assignments and homeworks. My husband is repainting again the whole house, he always do this whenever he doesn't have anywhere to go. He loves keeping himself busy even on weekends. Me on the other hand will be busy cooking and washing clothes spoiled this week.

That sounds like a nice weekend and holiday. When you have young kids its difficult not to do something for their benefit. Family fun and all.

Wow that sounds so nice and exciting. Everyone together and having a good time and smiling and enjoying every moment of it. Sounds so much fun. Well my weekend is not going to be any different. Will have to return back to work after a short vacation. Will have to wait until Janury 2012 when all my family members will be together as we kids are now else where due to work. So yes will wait for that moment and try and make the most out of it. What more can be better than a family reunion..

It was very nice to see her happy again after a time of strife and emotional unease. Nice to have all the family together.
