Let me tell you this is quite the story. It all takes place in Bennington Vermont. Here I will post the onfair article that was published the other day in The Bennington Banner, then I will tell you what really happened. Man pleads not guilty to domestic assault KEITH WHITCOMB JR. Posted: 07/05/2011 10:49:34 PM EDT Tuesday July 5, 2011 BENNINGTON -- A Bennington man was held without bail Tuesday after pleading not guilty to allegedly holding a knife to a woman’s throat and assaulting her. Brian Perrott, 30, of Pleasant Street, was charged with first degree aggravated domestic assault with a weapon, second degree unlawful restraint, domestic assault, interference with access to emergency services, and larceny from a person, a felony. Judge David Howard ordered Perrott held until a bail hearing can be scheduled. According to an affidavit by Bennington Police Officer Roscoe Harrington, on Thursday at 11:30 p.m. he received word that a woman would be meeting at the Bennington Police Station to report an assault. He said when he met with the woman, she was upset and crying. She told Harrington that she’d gone to her ex-boyfriend’s apartment on Pleasant Street earlier because he’d left her a message over Facebook saying he was throwing items belonging to her in the river. She said she’d called police to have them meet here there, but the officer had left before she’d arrived. The woman said she met with Perrott and went inside, where things were calm for a while, but he then became upset because he believed she was seeing someone else. She said he held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill them both if she didn’t tell him who it was she’d been with. She said she gave him a name, and he put the knife away before hitting her twice in the head with a closed fist. She said she tried to leave, but Perrott grabbed her from behind and covered her mouth. He then asked for her cell phone, and she gave it to him. She said she fled to her mother’s house after he let her go and called police from there. Yes this is my son, and he has been with her for 4 years, they have 2 baby girls, which he loves with all his heart. He is not a violent man. He has done everything for her, even moved to Vermont for her. We are from Troy NY. He gave up his buisness for her. She has all kinds of friends, but does not want him to have any friends. He cleaned the house cooked for them, took care of the children and their 3 cats, plus worked. She feels that these things are not important. You can find her at McDonalds feeding my grandbaby Chicken Nuggets and soda on a regular basis. My son decided he could not take anymore, and wanted to leave and come home.He called down here to try to get someone to get him. She is afraid he is going for custody of the girls, because she is not a very good mother. Last week he found his youngest ( under a year old) in the tub unattened under water, she almost drowned. Plus she is cheating on him, she did not even try to hide it,(did i mention she is pregnant again?).The day after she had him arrested, she was crusing the streets with her new man and the girls and her mother and had the nerve to stop and talk to his friend, Saying ha ha I hope he rots in jail. Her whole family is so messed up, and they think she is perfect and can do no wrong. I have had to deal with all this in the past, just to see my grandkids as well. There is no hospital report, no weapon, and insead of running to her friends apartment in the complex, she drove to her mothers house and called the police. If you are gonna drive someplace, why not the Police department??? That is just the tip of the iceberg in this case. I will update when things onfold later. I would love to hear people feedback on this subject.
