I wonder if i am too silly for a relationship

I am a bit silly to the point of taking everything literally. If someone says something funny, sometimes I take it the wrong way and gleem out of the corner of my eye saying grrrr... then I don't talk to them for sending mixed signals or just messing with me. I just am so touchy especially around annoying men, because I should have a little equal treatment around anyone.

I know what you mean. I am like that alot of times too. I think there is a time to be silly and a time to be serious. Serious times seem to come more often for me though. I look for the same in friendships and relationships also.

Hi,friend.Actually,it is normal phenomenon, since everyone has his own method of life.Sometimes being unable to understand the joke doesn't mean that you are not funny, maybe it didn't reach your,as we say,the "funny point".Probably you could watch some funny movies and read some jokes.Actually, getting along with others is not so hard and there is no absolutely exact method to learn about. All you have to do is try to treat people around you by your true heart. Then, everyone will like you.

well that's not silly that's who you are, sensitive/touchy sending mixed signals, I avoid people that do that too sometimes I avoid them, sometimes I around a little bit and send them mixed signals back, see who's got what the problem with this is, in the end nobody can claim who is right who is wrong but I had fun at least...

Well I mean perhaps you could just chill a bit? I don't mean to be rude but just always be relaxed. That's the way to live. Just live and laugh I say. If you just focus less time on over analyzing and just take everything easy you will feel like a much less silly person :)

Well I guess you could be like me and rarely take anything seriously. Part of it had to do with ADHD. Now that I'm on medication I don't just bust up laughing over serious things. That use to get me into a lot of trouble. I still see humor in everything but I have a better handle on how I openly react.
