Do you settle for one night stands or long lasting marriages?

Many people don't want to settle down with the right person that is for them. They settle for the first person they see that gives them a second glance. Long lasting relationships can be just as exciting as the one night stand, do you believe this?

I do not like one night stands at all. If I am going to sleep with someone, I plan on being with them and never splitting apart. I just do not give my self to anyone. I would rather marriage.

It just isn't the same to be with someone else when it isn't the same person you had been in love with for a long time.

I agree that long-term relationships are way better than one night stands. I've had only one, in my entire life, regretted it, and will never do it again. Why? Because it was never worth it. I prefer the relationship I've had for almost 5 years now. :)

One night stand is not the real relationship it is just for the mere enjoyment and marriage is the long time relationship with faith and confidence in the partner which is always the better and enjoyable too,

I think it depends on how the person look at it for we do have different point of view. But for me I settle for long lasting marriages, one night stand is not good at all. :)

Hmm I don't do one night stands, I can never do a one night stand. I rather a long lasting relationship. I love the relationship I am in right now. I would never give that up for a one night stand just a wild night that can ruin everything. I can have a wild night with my hubby. That is why I love role playing keeps this alive I can act like I am having a one night stand with him.

I was married for ten years, and I have to say that I don’t believe I will ever do it again. I have had a few one-night stands over the years, but I do not do them often. I have a “friends with benefits” arrangement with a couple of women, but I haven’t had a one-night stand since before I was married. I am certainly not going to say that I will not have a one-night stand again in the future though LOL

One night stands is quite exciting to many men and women. But it does not guaranteed us the peace and happiness that we so long for. I think long lasting marriages is better than one night stands. Do you know that you can even contact hiv in a one night stands.

It depends on what a person is looking for and what their view is on both marriage and one night stands. I don't typically like one night stands as I like to get to know people on a more long term basis but I also don't believe in committing myself to one person permanently. I don't believe a piece of paper can express my devotion to someone. I am more the kind of person who, while I enjoy long relationships, has no problem getting physically intimate with a good female friend of mine as long as there is no misconception.

If you are happy with yourself and you aren't being serious, no one gets hurt. That's not a bad thing lol.

last 3 years i am in so much pain just because my bf broke up with me...i found out that he has another girlfriend!!!during that time i was so depressed until one day one of my friend introduce me to one of his guy friend...we had been a text mate for almost 2 months before we decided to meet!!!and the first time we meet we both agree to settle down to an intimate relationship...then i thought that its just only for a one time around but as time goes by we don't both expect that we will fall in love with each other and i still feel the same feeling just like the first time i gave myself to him...we still both madly deeply in love with each other even though we both know that we are against all odds!!! destiny lies both in the hands of the two people whether they choose to be with each other...happiness is a choice not by a chance!!!
