That is really terrible news I am offering a silent prayer for the innocent lives lost. Yes, sometimes it is difficult to understand why people continue to live in a dangerous place. But some of them really just do not have a choice because they earn their living there or simply because it is home to them and there is nowhere else to go.

Obviously Mumbai is facing second wave of terrorist attack within a year, it is no more fun to live in Mumbai as before. The Indian government agency task with protecting the public safety and national security had failed miserably to live up to its expectation in preventing another terrorism from taking place in this booming city. It is time for Indian security agency to learn from its past lesson and become proactive in dealing with terrorism that is ravaging its city and town. India need to move aggressively on measures that can disrupt and destroy terror cells and its sleepers that are currently operating within its border, the government need to step up its effort and wake up quickly in seeking help from nations that had faced with the same fate like itself from U.S ; Israel or Uk to come out with effective measures to counter this rising threat of terrorism within India. Failure to see into it will no doubt making life in Mumbai a lot more dangerous than it already is...

Not only Mumbai Surekha........ my province is also suffering from same and i mentioned some cases earlier here. On last Sunday the Puri Express was derailed here by a bomb blasts. More than 50 passengers got injured. It happened just 8 kms away from my place.... so its not only Mumbai... All discredits go to our government as they are too lazy and to polite for the decisions regarding terrorists. Have a nice day.

I was shocked to see the news at about 11p.m as I was watching some other program on the TV till that time. The terrorist attacks are unpredictable. They can happen anywhere. Mumbai seems more easily vulnerable for a number of reasons. It is sad and speaks the inept intelligence in the country that terrorists are able to carryout the attacks at their sweet will. Mumbai people are by and large acclaimed to have the best civic sense. It is due to the extreme preoccupation with the rains and other day-to-day chores that the people failed to notice the dastardly act coming on. The attacks in Hyderabad at the Lumbini park and the popular eating house a couple of years (or was it three years) ago shook up the city. Now again there could be such attacks as people almost forgot the terror and are going about normally. It is the responsibility of the police intelligence to foresee and prevent such atrocities. Terrorists have carried out their attacks at almost all major cities including the capital and the parliament. This shows India does not have the kind of defence for such type of attacks.

I never been there, and I can't tell you whether it is dangerous to live in Mumbai or not. I never have experience there, and I don't know how it was there. Although I news about those terrorists attack. Maybe there is something to do with the religion part of it. No religion should teach its people to harm another being. That just totally wrong.

Yes, I also heard the news today. That's really dreadful to imagine that some people can do this wicked dastardly act to their own countrymen.I think most of the fatalities are innocent civilians who have nothing to do with their causes. I hope your government would see to it that all those involve in this will be put to jail soon. Anyway despite of this unpleasant incident, there's nothing you and your country can do but to move on with your life and I do hope too that all is well with your family. Thanks for sharing my friend.

That's terrible!! Three bomb blast at the same time??? We live in a risky life indeed. We can do nothing if it is because of the weather or natural disaster but if it is because of human action I can't forgive them as there is someone out there who don't appreciate the good life they have.

Hello Surekha, That was sad news i saw it in the news. For last few years people in metros like DELHI/MUMBAI are not safe at all as we have witnessed lot of bomb blasts here recently. Terrorists find these cities more appropriate for them to creat panic in people. They even tease us by challenging our security by doing blasts in metros raising questions like if they can blast in these cities where we say security is tight imagine what they can do in small cities. It was though very bad incident we had as so many innocent people were killed in the bomb blast here.I PRAY TO GOD to give their souls peace.
