Money Root of Evil?

Well, I do think that money does help create evil. It certainly does have a role to play in creating it. I wouldn't necessarily say that it is the root of all evil, but it probably is for some cases.

Money is good if we used it productively,wisely and by helping other people's needs.Money Is a root of evil when we are doing something bad just to earn money and we don't share it to other people even you had a capacity to help other people who are in need.

The root of all evil is man,money represents just a tool,an invention through which humans are kept under control in society.It's true that the lust for money represents the cause of many evil things which happen in society,but they alone can't generate wrong deeds.People are those who are so evil and I'm sure that even if there were no money,people would still do really bad things.

Money is truly the root of all evil as money is survival,therefore people will do anything possible to get money worst if they are desperate.

money is what every one wants in their life...all the mishappenings in the world are directly or indirectly realted to money...we as humans have rated it soo much that we sometime even forget why are we after that... and now in 21st century ..no one talks anything but money....it has taken place of our relations ...those who have it ..thinks dey are superior and end up breaking erery relation and those who doesnt has it ...dey are ready to do anything for it...!

For money to have been invented, evil had to exist first. If you ask me, the root of all evil is ego. We attach to material things and labels in an attempt to give ourselves an identity. Money is just part of that identity which we wish to have. Money is an inanimate object. It doesn't do anything and the only value it has is that which we place on it. Money is just at the center of materialism.

i think money is only part of the problem. It's the people who use it that also contribute to the problem. They might think money is all they need in the world, and is the only thing that matters. If everyone wasn't all greedy or evil then money would be innocent. But of course not everyone is so there you go, money becomes a big problem in our world.

Hi, resutaa I do not think money is the root of all evil. I think it is man's behavior that can cause evil. Greed, for example, can cause war. Money is just a thing and it is up to us to decide how to deal with it.

i believe money makes many people greedy,and it gives the idea of that everything can be bought with it.With this people also become corrupted,and wanting more and more.I miss the time where there was no money and pople lived extracting resources from nature and just living their lives. Although i recognize that tecnogical advances would be impossible without money,because laboratories need money to develop ressearches,the material is expensive,and also we wouldnt have modern industries and mostly everything that u have now with some technology u wouldnt have. So i can say money has good and bad parts.But its not its fault,its just us,that give it an use,and makes it bad or not.

sure humans invent it, and also we can say that is the root of evil things happend to us but i more agree that is individual mind to do wrong when we dont have as much money as we desire, im sure many of us have no money at all and we dont have evil mind to get money easily its just about principles or rules in our society that we follow and those who dont follow commit crimes

I don't think money is a root of evil for all. But money is a motivation of evil for some wicked people. Money is just a medium which people label with it some kind of prestige and indentity. Money is interpreted as a badge of honor and high social statue. People with ill intention strive to get as much money as they can by hook or by crook. Then people point their fingers at money. It's not the money that should be blamed, but the people themselves who misuse money.

if you said money as the root of all evil... therefore.... money too is the root of all good.... because it depends upon the person if he will use his income to help his fellow people for the benefit of good only.... as a living hero.... or as a bread winner of the family.... all things and matters of this universe is capable of good and evil.....

Yes, without doubts! But is also a tool that keeps the society moving on... without money, we probably saw more poverty and famine around the world that we see now... :)

Money is a tool. Money is not a living being with a mind and heart of its own. It is as self aware as concrete. An inanimate object can not manipulate purposely the minds of humans. In the past (and still today) money has been used for good, but also some pretty bloody evil. It is something that can motivate people to do the wrong thing. I would say money is a cause, or a root, behind many evil acts. It is not an excuse, but a motivator. People are not just evil to be evil (unless insane of course), they do crime with because they want something - badly.
