Now-a-days we are all very beauty conscious, especially the young women. So there are varieties of cosmetic surgeries to help us in this regard. Rhinoplasty is such a procedure which is meant for crooked nose. It is very challenging but the surgeons take it very lightly. And this attitude of the surgeons sometimes causes harm instead of doing any good to the patient. Rhinoplasty for crooked nose especially with big hump may cause open roof deformity while removing the hump. So the surgeons will always keep it in mind while performing the surgery and it is always better for the patient to seek the help of an experienced surgeon whose skill in this field of surgery is beyond any dispute. So if you have crooked nose and you wish to correct it, please keep this humble advice of mine in mind.

The thing is have plastic surgery has been so publicised and endorsed by the fashion industry that many people think that these surgeries have no risk and will always turn out well. The fact that there are less then reputable surgeons who will do surgeries, knowing full well that they should not and cause more damage then good, should make people more selective in choosing who operates on them. Crooked noses are common but only a few are disruptive by causing problems with breathing, but if a nose is very crooked I can see people wanting to have it fixed. I do hope they take your advice though when doing so, all surgeries have risks, all surgeries have things that can go wrong, choosing a skilled surgeon reduces the risks and that when things go wrong, they are able to solve the problem.

Thank you but I don't have any intention to have my nose dome by a cosmetic surgeon, no way thank you as I love the way It looks even if it's flat and annoying. Aside from I don;t have the financial capacity to have it done, I won;t mind having it until the time I gone. After all my husband is not complaining about it and I am happy to have it for my entire life.

It is no doubt a very good habit to be happy with what you have unless it is compromising with your safety and health.

The nose job that comes to mind for me is Michael Jackson. His nose just got way out of the norm. I would have to really have a major hocker going on to let some surgery lose on my nose. Part of being human is have some abnormalities. We have one ear lower, one arm longer, etc.

Unless I had experienced an injury during the course of my life, I don't think that there would be any reason that I would have a nose job. However, if I would have had an injury that resulted in my nose causing problems with my breathing or something like that, then I would consider having a rhinoplasty just so that I would be able to breathe properly. What I really don't understand is people that have them done simply for cosmetic purposes.

Some of my 'kabayans' are born with small noses and they resort to rhinoplasty to correct this. Some nose jobs are really good but others only make the person look worse.

I think this is the drawback of any surgery, especially of cosmetic surgery. There is no guarantee in such surgeries. So I personally believe and always advise others to stay away from such surgeries.

I would only consider any type of nose surgery only if it was impinging on my breathing. I would not do anything for cosmetic surgery and only if it was impacting my health. Even with that in mind I would get second and or third opinions as sometimes surgery cannot be reversed. Therefore, very wise to keep that in mind that sometimes beauty can cost our lives.

Sometimes I have seen some noses that are literally crooked. It makes their faces look awful. A beautiful face with a crooked nose can ruin their self esteem. I understand why people get nose jobs. I dont like my nose but I probably wouldnt ever bother to have surgery done to change it. To expensive. We always think of the cases that went wrong but there are lots of surgerys that go perfectly fine.
