Hmm, why? I was regretting the past because before when I just finished my study in secondary level. I ask my parents to let me stop atleast for 1 year just to take rest in studying. But my parents didn't agree with my request. So even I was so lazy going to college I still take an exam and get through on my college level. I just studied a course of Associate in Computer Secretarial. It was 2 year-course only! When I started to find a job and I experience to work very hard, I feel like I want to study again so I can get a high profile of job but easy and high salary. But unfortunately, my parents don't like me to go for school again. And so, now I was so regret that I didn't give my best and take the higher course...:(

This is the question I raised in regards with the Ladderized Education the government wants to institute in the education system here in our country. Mentors do not have enough time to give the full knowledge in short period of time and the graduate will only suffer when they are engaged in the work fields. Many things has been missed so in the end only those of graduates of full course get the job and perform what is ask of them.

Regret is a very useless feeling to have. One must take responsibility for his/her life. It is always a matter of choice. Instead of having regret, it is better to plan what can be done now, because however much you may regret you can not turn back the clock and undo what has happened. So it is lot better to focus on what can be done today to minimize the impact of what happened yesterday.

You cannot change the past my dear, you just need to move further and face reality. Now the question is, are you still decided to pursue what you like? Age does not matter when it comes to education but do you have the money to spend to get what you really wanted? If not then I suggest you work hard for it and when you are really ready to study, it will be okay if you are financially secured. I don't see anything wrong with the course you took. In life what is important is how you prove that you can stand on your own two feet and help others also like your family that supported you in your studies. Remember that you won't be able to reach what you are now if not for your parents. Just strive even harder, work smarter and grab every opportunity you have so that in no way you will feel so regretful again because you didn't listen to what you are feeling or to what your family tells you so. Parents know better although you can still decide on your own but be responsible to it.

First there is no "easy" job. All jobs require hard work - either physically or mentally. Being a student is the easy part of life. If you make a mistake, you can make up for it with later assignments. Or if you blow it even bigger than that, you can retake the class. A job is a one shot part of life though. If I was you I would just stick to where you are - unless of course you have the money to return to school right without incurring significant debt. The past is set and stone now. Your passed your chances then and went on the path that has brought you to where you are now. Don't regret - that won't accomplish anything except sapping your energy and drive from you. Instead now make decisions for yourself.
