I am thinking of going back to singapore to look for a job. I know i cant work there as a nurse since my experience is not yet enough. They require 3yrs and mine is 2yrs only. So might as well find a job at the clinic as suggested by a friend who already work there. Now, I am doubtful since my friends are having hard time looking for a place for me to stay since the owner is strict for a maximum number of bed spacers. Do you think it is a good idea to go there? :'(

miessy24, I believe that you are already much decided on working in Singapore where environment and meritocracy is concerned, otherwise you wouldn't have set your mind on this. Although, I have to agree with you that with Singapore's level of efficiency there will be some slight consequences where strictness is concern. The issue you faced here is not an isolated nor unsolvable, your friend and you will just need to be resourceful. The ideal place may be filled but I am sure there will be others close by. Besides, Singapore isn't a very big country where traveling between places won't be extensive or inconvenient. Just don't let a little setback crowd your judgment, I say go where your heart tells you for this one. Take care and have a nice day.

hi cactus, I just noticed the message, mu bad. you really want me to take medicine, huh? (^_^) Being a doctor is really fulfilling and noble. It was my childhood dream, but then there are dreams that are far from reality. Studying medicine is not that easy. I think I will figure that out once I will be outside the country. Thanks a lot for encouraging me.

I think it is not a good idea to go to work in Singapore.I suggest you must try to find job in your country where you can work without stress and there is no hardship on you.

Hi, there! I also want to go to Singapore and work there but I doubt I could easily find a job there since I have limited experience. I think, you should weigh things up. To go a foreign land is not that easy. Prepare a big amount of money so that you won't be able to bother your friends there. They too has there own problems. So better be ready financially before going there. And if you must, secure a job there first.

hello there jdex, actually i don't much worry about finances.Transportation there is even accessible and easy to learn. I have been there last March with my family and I fell in love with the place. It's just that being a job-seeker there is far different from a mere tourist. That is the dilemma I have been thinking.

Ahh.. Is that it? I think, you should probably go. Your friends did find job their right? There's also no reason for you not to be employed there. If it would take time, just be patient. For with patience, good things will come. :) Just believe in yourself and stay as determined as you are. :)

I have friends working in Singapore now and are very contented with their jobs. Of course they also have complaints but compared to arab countries, it is a very good place to work for ladies. Singapore is a very clean and beautiful country, I have been there once and can't wait to come again for vacation. I think it will not be a bad choice for you to go back and work there again, it's better than being jobless.

Yes you are right pbbsra. Singapore is very clean and accessible and I think it will give a great pay than here in the Philippines, but I am still considering others options though like western countries.
