Hi guys! I'm just so happy now.. I made my very ebay purchase. I bought a camera.
There are two colors ending right now, black and red. I really loved the black one. But there are soooo many bidders because the price was so cheap. Unfortunately, I did not win the black one. I bid 10 seconds before the auction ends and my browser hanged a little and another bidder bid so I did not succeed. I was so frustrated I looked at the other color. I don't like it that much but so what? It's just the color, everything the same. I waited till 20 seconds left and I bid and I won!!!! I'm so happy..
But then I realize... I had no money! 
I bid higher than anticipated.. Geee... I asked my mom if she has extra.. but she doesn't...
Great...
But fortunately, I did not spend my salary for three months now and I got some money in the bank. I'll use that! I'll ask my mom to go there and pay.. Gee.. I'm so happy. I have always wanted a camera and just got the chance today... So happy..

Yes there are ways here to earn uploading photos.
If you’re looking to earn for your photos, there is still a HUGE opportunity to earn. You will be compensated for each photo added to a discussion or to an interest.
you can upload to "my photos" but you will not earn for those. At the bottom left hand corner of the page where you are typing in your text, you will see "add an image." you get compensated for those. You can also go to an interest and upload there. I don't think it will be much but grain by grain the chicken fills her belly. lol Enjoy the new camara and uploading photos.

Yes, I would agree. If it is a good camera and it would do a good job at taking photos, the color is irrelevant. I am the same with anything I buy for using. I wouldn't like bright and weird colors in my house, but a camera, car or whatever it may be that is not going to be on show for me just to look at, can be any color. _Derek

Well congratulations on winning the bid. I am afraid of bidding on any site like that because I don't want to end up spending more money then I can actually afford to spend. I like the buy it now prices a lot more. Well I am glad you got the camera, even if it wasn't in the color you wanted, and atleast you've got enough money to cover it!

Bidding means there's a product that will be displayed for a certain period of time, that one was 10 days. And then the one with highest offer will be able to get the product. Ebay is one of the biggest online selling and bidding site..
Thank you guys.. I looked for how much was it really and I got it almost half the real price.. Still a big savings, right?

I hate it when the item I like to buy is for bidding. It deprives me of the chance to get the item. I have never tried bidding but I think that does not give me much chance and beside if I like something I need not to go through that pain.

Well, I don't like to bid when I have to wait too long. I saw the product 8 hours before it ended and I have it under my surveillance until the last 20 seconds when I placed my bid..
It was a cheap buy so I go for it.

I never have owned a camera. So you won it! Cool. I used to get into some auctions on Ebat but haven't for years. I just can't afford it. I got scammed by Quibids. They grab $60 bucks right up front from your account. I thought I could buy afew bigs at a time not one big one like that.

Yeah.. sometimes the price just goes soooo high.. I actually had some clothes that I bid on but did not win. I let it go since the price went triple what I bid and what I bid is everything I can afford..
I'm scared of being scammed that's why I try to be really careful with my online purchases.. those scammers...

I love eBay. My first try at bidding on something ended in tears lol I was upset I didn't win. I asked if they had another and they did and she offered me a second chance offer.. Now I don't get upset if I don't Win especially if I know there are more of the items available. I watch them until they are at a good price and wait and bid in the last 15 to 20 seconds... I get great bargains from Hong Kong. I only bid when I know I'm sure I have money otherwise I just wait til I do... But I know what its like when you really want something, and the spare of the moment you feel it is right, so you bid anyway... Then worry about it later lol...

Oh yeah.. If I love something, I'll do everything I can to have it.. of course, not bad things.. Yeah.. who does not love cameras?? They capture even the simplest moments and keep a great memory.. I really love them.. and I'm happy I'll finally have one!!

Well, the only reason why I bid was I really like to have a camera. I searched it and it seems a good one and it's so cheap that time.. So I thought maybe this is the time I have a camera. But I needed to set aside the things I also would want to buy for this month like a new bag and shoes.. But at least I got something I've never had before..!

Congratulations on the camera! Sounded like you got real hung-up in the moment and couldn't decide. But its hard to pass up a good deal.
The money situation may have been a problem, but in the end that camera will take pictures of many good memories. But could also help you earn some more money if you want to take on photography. It only takes a few nice pictures taken and placed on the internet, and people quite possibly could want to buy it.
Anyways next time give some thinking time into the money situation.

Oh dear.. I was so into it I set aside where I'll get the money and just go for it.. Yeah, I really love photography.. I was involved in journalism before and that's one thing I surely would love to do.. but I was in news writing and editorial.. never had the chance to do photography, but that's one of my biggest dreams and happiness..

Yeah.. I was watching the product for 8 hours. I never closed the window and always refresh the page.. LOL.. well, I thought if I would first ask for their permission, they wouldn't let me.. just like before.. So when it's already in front of us and they got nothing to do.. they'll let me!!!! I'm so happy..! It really feels great! And nobody argued w/ me... they like it too.. they even paid for the whole price! (but I need to pay later)...

I feel so happy for you. I once had that experience but the bidding site i joined in was not good so I can't make the item delivered for the lower cost. I just leave the item behind. Very unlucky for me. First I won the bidding but didn't get to pay the item because the shipping fee was so expensive because my location is really far from them. But I was happy that day and I missed that kind of feeling.

Thank you.. I'll try to post a pic here using that.. Yeah that's really so fun and exciting. In fact, when I checked the last bid before mine, the difference was 1 peso!!! And I finished bidding 3 seconds before it's over and after that when I won I was really shouting out loud that it fills the whole house! I was shouting "I won!!! I won!!!! Je (my brother)!! I won!!!" and my dad said "Hey, stop!"
I was so happy.. It's a great thing.. since it's my very first time in ebay..

Yes, I think that's one thing I need to control myself now. I need to bid just what I can afford.. My bid actually raised 75% to what I just allowed myself to.. Great my other bids were not successful so I can use money there to this cam..

Congrats my friend, be careful you might just catch the bug. Once you get involved in the bidding it is hard to stop yourself when you get outbid, I think it's just the excitement factor of it.

Yeah.. it's addicting. I have been watching that product 8 hours before it ended and kept on seeing how much the bid is going.. But I only bid the last 20 seconds and so happy I won! I saw the other bidders were really into it also and they are really bidding and bidding.. but they did not win! Because I won!!! Guess what? The difference between my bid and the last bidder before me was just 1 Peso ($0.023).. I was surprised.. I'm sure s/he is so disappointed...

Congratulations for winning the bidding! :) I have been shopping online on eBay through "buy now" options. I've never tried actually bidding. Can you really get it cheaper? Because I have seen eBay items and the bidding starts at super low prices. Like for example, I saw an original iPhone and the starting bid was only P5000. People started bidding and I was just observing it for days. Finally, the highest bidder was I think 10,000 something. So does that mean he/she really got that iPhone for P10,000plus only?
I'm thinking of buying an SLR camera. Maybe I should try bidding too. Should I? :)

Well, I think it really depends. They start at low prices but as the time ends, it gets really high. That one was started at P100 ($2.3+).. and I bought it for.. secret..! But a little more than half it's retail price. I think you should first know the real price then set your limits and bid if you find one.. Yeah, if you win the product, no matter how much,you'll get it. But be careful because some might not be really selling and will just get your money... So make sure the seller is a great one.. by looking at their feedback and rating!
