Now, I've been in the writing business professionally for about 6 years, and I know about spinning articles.. but I have just come across a term that I don't know.. and it is called "flat spun".. and whatever it is it is going to pay well... so now I need to know what in the heck they mean when they say 'flat spun.'

Spinning is putting several words or phrases in the place of one: e.g. "I {went|am going|will go} to the shop" gives three spun sentences, one with each of the verb tenses. There's a good definition of "flat" spinning (and the other terms) here: http://explicitly.me/content-spinning-aka-article-spinning (not a referral) It's just a way of producing several articles that say much the same thing in one go. The more words that are spun, the more semi-random articles are produced.

I had never heard of this term before I went to Mylot and searched it. I came up with a lot of things on flat spin as related to aircraft but only one on flat spun. That one was a forum and only had three questions on it about what was flat spun, so I take it that not many folks know what the author is talking about. The response from HWG seems to make the most sense but why would anyone want to cheat in something like this? With the chance they will cancel your account and you have to still pay them to sip your article why bother?

Would they mean articles that are well written and first hand never published anywhere else? They might even mean Top quality articles here. All I know is that it takes talent to be able to continuously write and get paid for it well.

Yes, articles well written, and pre-spun by human beings .. not just using synonyms, but actually rephrasing sentences and flat spinning them. A robot doesn't know the difference between a company name or a person's name that can't be spun.. a robot may not make sense of an article to spin it... I want a robot that will take human spun articles with the coding and spit out new original well written articles. I work for a company here at home.. we just finished a project.. but we could do some more spinning in it before turning it in. We want to offer our client 3 spun articles (original) out of one. It takes massive skill to be able to do this right. We are just learning, ourselves, because this client never asked for flat spun articles before. We are trying to find a way to do it while being able to keep the costs down.

I've never heard of these expressions but after reading the responses I myLot searched "what is flat spin article writing?" and one of the leads gave some examples. I'm still rather in the dark but perhaps you can make sense of it. http://articlesubmissionreview.com/blog/quick-guide-to-article-spinning-syntax

Yes, I know what this is.. our trainer used this or something like this in her training. It's a good example of flat spinning. Thanks Ms. Tickle.
