Wanted dishes or dishes and foods which are suitable when you go camping for the weekend. Please no answers like canned soup, barbecue. (That's clear) We have no refrigeration, except for a cool bag;. A camping gas stove and pot and two disposable barbecues. No power! What can you take for breakfast, which does not spoil quickly? What side dishes for grilled meats or other foods? Tested preparations and snacks in between? How can you keep good cold drinks?

Hard-boiled eggs keep without refrigeration, jam, honey, and if you want to have something tasty in between, then you buy land hunters and roast them over an open fire on a stick, two cents and bread, as much as you can supertan treatment not at all like you out because of hand be torn!
You can drink in a Thermonskanne keep cool, of course, only non-carbonated. Fill with cold drink and it stays cold 24 hours!
Vacuum-packed sausages, in any form, kept without refrigeration, specifically when they are lightly smoked and you can also make the water hot. A pair of hot Vienna or Frankfurt and almost everyone likes.
There are many things, but you said yes, and weekends I do not think you want to take like three pounds!

For a camping trip I like to have dry biscuits, nuts and seeds, fruit bars and rice cakes. I can bring some fruit jam or nutty spread to put on my rice cakes. I like to have drinks of 250ml fruit juice and soya drinks. I eat a vegan diet. I don't take a camping stove with me when I go camping. A cool bag is the only way to keep drinks cool I believe when camping.

I always take some potatoes as they are so versitile and will do as a side or main dish. I also think dried noodles are good as they are quick to prepare and can be ate as a snack in between meals. Tinned tuna is another good one to take and vacuumed packed smoked fish.
For breakfast eggs, whether scrambled, fried, poached, boiled or an omelette would be ideal as these are things you can eat on their own.

i think there are lots of foods that are suitable for camping you just have to use your imagination for it one of my favorites is macaroni and cheese i also like to take sandwiches and beanie weanies and viannea sausages i do not have any kind of portable grill that i carry with me so i am limited to foods that i can cook over a stove as a snack i like eating these butterfinger flavored granola bars walmart also sells some dry freezed meals and deserts for a pretty decent price i have not tried them yet but i am planning on it

There is a difference in food if you are just driving to the camp site and back or if you are hiking to the camp site because weight becomes an issue. There are a lot of foods that are set up for campers in camping stores, though some are expensive, like dehydrated vegetables, but there are cheaper alternatives like those instant soups and instant noodles that all you need to do is add water. There are easy ways to keeping food without it going off, like digging a hole and placing the food items below ground inside a freezer bag, as just a few centimetres can make a huge difference in temperature. Since it is only a two day trip, it is possible to just take basic supplies. Since you have a stove, a kettle or pot allows for some variety, as long as you have water. Bread, especially that long lasting bread, is a good idea for breakfast, which with eggs(can keep as long as kept in the cooler bag) can give some variety as they can be eaten cooked(easiest way) or if it is possible to take a little oil, fry them or make french toast depending on the pot you take.
This site has a lot of camping recipes, but most deal with long camping holidays but you may get some ideas of things that work for you

I do fast food or basically just eat out. Dont need to stay at the camp site 24/7. I just prefer camping over hotels or motels. However, during the day I want to do other activties. However, why don't you have or get a cooler so you can take items.
