Every country has its own strengths and weaknesses. One could love and be proud with its own because of its strength, and hate because of its weakness. How about you? Do you love you country? What's in your country that you love about and that makes it different from other countries? What's in it that you hate?... please specify the country you are in?...

Hello, Im from the Philippines. I really love my country. Our country is the richest, when it comes to natural resources and beautiful nature. They say, that Philippines are sitting in gold. But the bad thing is, the people taking care of the country. People don't know how to nourish the beauty of our country. Even though we are rich in natural resources, we are still not upgrading because foreigners are the one who benefits well. Foreigners are the one who owns most of the resources and the natives are just the workers. Well, I don't know why. I'm sad with those things. But still, I will continue being proud to be a Filipino.

because Filipino like to be independent and they do some fighting to depend the country because of the thinking that can stand without the help of others because it was proud to be and like to be free to some foreigner, so the Philippine given a chance to be independent so what happen now still slave to the other investor from other country because you know most of the Filipino are very intelligent in everything in corruption, yes there will be nourishment if the budget will go direct to the project of every government project to the place but what happen, before the project will finished many officer cut the budget so if the budget is cut what happened to the project adjust the material also, example if there is a road project instead the road will be finished in the end of the road finished only in the middle because of what?

well for my country is not a just mere geography or a mere turf, or a location in the cosmos, it is where I had my exsistence began, my spirits dwell in it, and the spirits of my ancestors roam in the realms of the spirits and communicate with me and my spirit spirit at supernatural levels. My country is the place where I earn how to exist as human being, I learn the culture, the traditions, the morals, ethics and religions where they shape me to be human being and not a just bilogical animal species. The environment, the landscape, the food, the flora and faun also relate to me things living and non living, that we depend on each other. To leave them and forake them and defect to another country is just like committing sucide. I love my country because I would not get those things in other country than my own.

I really love your answer. It made me think why I love my own country.. I never thought it to be that way.. I always think about the strengths or just the about the beauty my country has and not how my country helped me grow.. thank you for your response.

I believe that we all love our countries for different reasons. In the true spirit of patriotism, we should take pride in the land that we call home. I love in the USA and i am bery proud of my country. Being free and independent to make choices and express beliefs is something we often take for granted.

yes indeed, America is a country that is full of freedom. I believe it is even the most free country I know, not only freedom of speech, actions, but also beliefs.. Good to know that you love your country, like many people (not only from the US) do..

I like my country (Brazil) because the people here are very friendly and always help each other. Also, there a lot of beautiful cities and amazing beaches. I don't like here because of the violence and corruption. There are cities here that I would never even considerer to live because the rates of violence are so high that scary me. Actually, you can't feel safe in any city here where I live (except those really really small cities). Everytime I watch a criminals TV show here in my country, I always think to move to another country. Because there are so many sad histories daily. Also, politicians are so corruption. The bad thing that here where I live the votes of all countries worth the same, so, the elections are always decided by the non-educated population.

I never thought that Brazil could have scary places.. Nice to know that despite its scary conditions, you are still proud of your country.. The people in a country is more important than the country or the place itself, so you characteristic of being friendly and helpful are more important. Because I believe that the people are the one that defines what the country is.

I also want this question to be answered. I know we are from the same country. I agree that all countries have their positive and negative and if you just focus on the negative you might want to leave the country right away. Filipinos leave for other countries because they say they have no future here. While, I see foreigners and does not want to leave the country. I heard someone said, he would like to die in the Philippine soil, meaning he loves staying here.I love the Philippines because its unique, the geography is distinct with many islands, people here are happy people even if they are poor. People are religious and our culture is diverse but not confusing. We mixed different culture and compared to other Asians we know English language fairly well.

yeah, I agree with you... me too, I love my country and I want to stay here despite the negative things, and I believe that is true love. I know there is still hope for our country. It's not the end of the world yet, right? so there's still time to change...

My home country is called England and it is situated in the United Kingdom. I like being situated in Europe because it is near other countries. London is an important hub for planes that go to other countries. I enjoy having four seasons and my favorite of them is summer. I like the historical architecture and the old cottages. I am keen on the gorgeous looking countryside and the spectacular looking coastline. I like its train line. I have visited many other countries and know my home country is one of the best. There are a few countries I like more than my home country. I don't like the winter when the weather goes freezing cold. I think my home country is over populated with around 60 million people. It is a small country around the size of New Zealand. That has around 4 million people by comparison. I wouldn't say there is anything I hate about my home country.

I live in the United States and I love what that stands for. Justice and liberty for all. We accept openly and happily all different races of people and everyone has the ability to do well here if they want to. I also like the pride of the people who live here and what our forefathers stood for. I don't like the way our government wastes money though, they are hurting the good people of the United States.

Philippines: very rich in natural resources, benign weather, beautiful country, industrious and intelligent people, but ill-led and ill-managed. But I think there is still hope, that's why I never took up offers of jobs abroad before and to the temptation of permanently settling abroad. In my little ways and involvements, I try hard to change the situation. This is the only country I have. I am poor and have nothing to bequeath my children, except my country and their citizenship that I hope they will be proud of and other nations will respect.

loving your own country its not about the situation or the economic and the place what is look like, but it s all about your home land that you born with that you gonna missed it for example you will go to other place or in other country so if you are there in other country and you stay for a long years you will expect that you gonna missed the place or the country that you born with, also you gonna missed the people and the place the culture and the way you live in that country the weather.
