Okay so I am watching on cartoon network the original thundercats and that is all i ever intend to watch. They are coming out with a new version of it? I saw a trailor for it and was like "no thanks." Not that I would have chosen to watch it anyway, but what they are doing to the new thundercats? It's just terrible. There is a movie coming out that I want to catch ofcourse!
So do you watch the thundercats? Do you ever watch the *NEW* version of a show?

I didn't watch it when I was a child but a friend showed me the show and I am hooked. I actually watched cartoons and kids shows even when i was 10 or 11, okay I'm 24 and still catch kids shows from time to time, though I also watch more adult drama shows as well.

They've definitely changed from when I was a kid, and I know they've changed a lot over the years... sometimes I wonder if they're even geared towards children anymore (atleast some of them on Nick)

Yep, I also saw it. It's 3d, right? I think the renders are great. I thought it's a theatrical movie they were releasing. I saw the trailer on youtube. Now if I can find it again...

I think the movie will be in 3D, but the new t.v. show isn't. I like the told t.v. show but MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT (a very big MIGHT) give the new one a chance. I do want to see the movie though.

Never knew there was a new version of the show coming out. Seems alot of the shows some of us enjoyed as a kid in the 80's are being re-vamped one way or another. Smurfs is out this summer and I dunno if I like the idea of them not being in their own lil world but in our "reality". Transformers is a big box office hit. They've updated Strawberry Short cake a few times and totally modernized Hollie Hobbie. Who know's what else they'll come up with from our old favorites.

You know, the smurfs movie seems to be a knock off of the chipmunks, I still think I want to see it though. Transformers was great, I went to see it. Now the television show, don't they have a newer version of it? I think they do. I never watched strawberry shortcake but knew of it's modernized version, and same goes for Hollie Hobbie.
I'm sure they'll be revamping a lot of old cartoons, let's just see how well they do.
I wouldn't mind a newer version of Gullah Gullah Island, however, that's not a cartoon.

I watched it when my daughter was young= with her. I don't usually care for the new version of stuff. I am a traditionalist in that I like the old version and old traditions. I recall The Thundercats was a cute show and we enjoyed it. Haven't seen it in probably twenty years.

I remember a time when I used to watch that show when I was little. Are they the ones with the catchy phrase...'Thudercats unite!'?
I remember reading something about that show becoming a movie. And of course, I will watch it, just like every other cartoon show from my past that they came out with a movie.

Mumra, yeah.. Not all of them are mutants, of course the thundercats aren't, and Mumra isn't considered one, atleast I don't think so. I just watched some of it today, I love that show.
