hey there myLotters! i was just wondering whether having an expensive, latest, high-tech, touch-screen cellphones boost your confidence when you are in the crowd? does it make any difference when you have nice gadgets compared to those cellphones that were made few years ago? as for me, i am very much contented with the phone i have as long as you can call and text people and keep updated to happenings. how about you?

I think it boostes confident for me. Before I'm using an old cellphone and it is hard to text in public because of its model. Now then, I bought my new touchscreen cellphone, its pretty much good to use because I dont have nothing to shame of.

it's good that you have a touchscreen cellphone. what's funny too is that you can get attention from others without attempting to. there are times that you'll notice someone staring at you while you're texting or just scrolling your phone. hehe

Confidence is should come from within you and not because of some gadgets. Having expensive gadgets can catch another persons attention but it does not last long. Work on having good people skills by having genuine interest in knowing them personally. Remember that when we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves. This is how confidence should work.

No i don't think so, though i have expensive cell phones with latest features; we have all modern gadgets in home, they are no more luxury but necessities lol.

Phones, clothing or accessories not related to my confidence. My confidence comes from myself, from what I know and I do. If I like a phone Nokia, Nokia 1200 or Nokia 8800 are the same, simply because they are both Nokia.

Hi friend, this kind of modern cell phones and advanced gadgets don't give any additional social status to us also i am not interested in getting popularity based on my gadgets. Our skills and talents will help us to shine in front of the public.

Well, it is true that lots of people believe that being in the edge of technology means like I can afford this. It really boost morale, however in my side as long as the phone have a good features I will used it until it expired. I guess that's my way of living.
