I feel like I always want more and am never going to be just content with what I have. I am content with my life and all but I always want more and have so many dreams for the future. My bf lost his job awhile ago and all I wanted was him to get his job back and have an income. He got another job and has an income and now all I want is a house. After a house, I feel like all I will want is something else. It never seems to stop. I don't think this is a good quality but wonder if everyone feels this way and if it is a good thing to have big dreams and ambitions because without them, how would anyone get anywhere? How do you feel about this? Do you always want more or are you just satisfied with what you have?

Keep on dreaming, keep on wanting more! That's the spirit that I am always dreaming for more than I have. There is no wrong with that and in fact no one can stop us dreaming and wanting for me. Being ambitious in life will be a guide to an individual to strive hard and be on top and dream big. That's reality of life.

Your habits are not strange it is a common character among most human. I do not know whether you study economics at the secondary school level or bachelor degree level. There we were taught that human wants are unlimited or can not be satisfied but the resources to satisfy this wants are limited. That is why you and I have to work to earn money and then contribute to the national economy of our respective country. We are just like Oliver Twist that ask for more when he was remanded in a home. This story was written by Charles Deakins a British writer. All this story point to the fact that we can not be satisfied at any particular time we will always want and want. But the greatest challenges to our want is the fact that the resources to satisfy these wants are limited in supply hence we have to work and work to make a living.

Well we humans our expectations never comes to an end we man is a social animal and always tends to find more and more comfort in his life. Say for any example first we think about a car than a house then some future plans and the list goes on and on. It is very common among us, even i feel the same my friend, i have lot of plans for my future currently iam learning and doing a training job and i have made a lot dreams which are to be completed, you can in short say that i have a never ending list to be completed in life. So this is the nature of Humans, a person can never be satisfied with what he haves especially in this 21st century where new and new things are coming up. So concluding on the topic nobody stops for wanting more and more.

I think everyone is like that to a certain point. There's always something that we want more of, it could be more money, more electronics, more things. I'm sort of feeling this way right now, I want more money and I'm doing everything I can to make more money but the money I have isn't enough.

well, this is a triumph of the capitalist and consumerist society. never ever to be satisfied so that the grind of production, distribution and promotion continue to no end. the desire to have the luxurious things in life is unsatiable because it is what the media is feeding us. to be accepted in a discriminating society, one has to be and have the things that are fashionable to the society. it is sad, but true.

Wanting more and having big ambition and dream is very natural for human being and it is nothing wrong at all. So long as you go about achieve your dream and ambition through hard work and unwavering personal effort without resorting to cheat or steal or fraudulent activity to acquire them. Only when you try to reach your goal in a immoral and illegal means, then it become wrong to have those goals in your life since you don't want to work for them except through unscrupulous and dirty methods to achieve them.

It's everybody's quality and don't worry because you are not alone. Men are greedy by nature and it's natural for us to get more out of life. To be content with what we have won't motivate us to do our best. I guess we were all made this way, to yearn for more. But of course in everything there must be a limitation and we must know that. We must know that too much of everything is really bad and too greedy is not good at all. Because of people's greediness, we have invented computers, smartphones and many things to give us that convenience. But as you can see people still don't stop right there. We still continue to evolve and try to improve life for the better.

Never loose hope. Continue dreaming. It is always a part of our life. And don't forget to pray for some guidance. Offer it to God all your burdens and one day you'll just surprise things are going to be fine and wonderful.

I think this is in human nature. Do you know this: The appetite raises while you are eating? Always will be like this. After receiving job you want better job or after buying house you would like bigger house. After you reach some level of satisfaction you would like some more. We are never happy what we have. However this " wanting" feeling keep as going and makes our dreams come true.

There is a term in chemistry "chain reaction". We, the humans make our goal and wish desire and yearn to achieve that at any cost and at earliest possibility. I am not an expert but I will give you mine example. I come from a village and I use to fantasize about towns and all, my pocket money was limited and so was my vision and experience. Now being a marine engineer, I have sailed across 4 oceans and 6 seas, I have been to numerous countries and 3 continents. Experienced various cultures and kind of people. My vision has widened, I have gained experience. SO now my goals have also changed. In my opinion, life has numerous short stages, At each stage we have some goals, sometimes we achieve them and sometimes we fail. This process continues. Thus in my opinion there is nothing like "goal and destiny" infact all goals are just the way to the next ones. That is the way things work.

Their is a saying that goes like this " Every normal person is always discontented"! I'm one of it and I'm always aiming for something. It's normal for us human being who believe in their dreams and have unstoppable ambitions in life.
