and these are what we in the uk would call biscuits.. anything that doesn't resemble an actual cookie..
so the likes of things in wrappers, that aren't chocolate / candy bars.. and other forms of "cookies" .. we call them biscuits.
is everything a little clearer? lol!

It's not really fair to say "actual cookie", as if that is correct and others are wrong. Different countries often use words differently. In the U.S., a biscuit is a flaky bread like this: http://www.wizardrecipes.com/upload/Baking Powder Biscuits.jpg
I think it's called a scone.

oh my god, i'm not even going to get into such a lengthly discussion about something you effin well eat.
mayuko. i wasn't saying an actual cookie like everyone else was wrong. i was saying actual cookie in the most commonly used sense of the word. for something that IS a cookie, and everyone calls it that, as aposed to the likes of a biscuit that has many different terms.
