always something new to learn on mylot

My profile page in mylot is the least visited page so anything that has been sent there would not be immediately viewed as compared to pms. Yes, I agree with you it is better for friends to send messages then leaving comments in profiles as they might never be viewed any sooner.

I am not usually a comment type person, and I really do need to get in and update my profile. I have seen many people complain that the comment function no longer works, so there is that as well. I do agree that there is always something new to learn about Mylot or about other things from people on MyLot.

Gosh, you’ve reminded me to take a look at my profile and lo and behold there are heaps of messages which are over a year old that I haven’t even read! I feel so ashamed because friends have posted nice messages to me which have gone ignored. Like you, I prefer PMs so that they will not be missed. It always boils down to lack of time especially these days when I don’t have nearly as much time here as I used to! If any of the friends that have left messages read this…I am very sorry!!

hi pat, i didnt know there was such a feature here in mylot! as what i have read from mike's response, he says there used to be (but no longer working now). so that means, before you can add and change things in your profile? like one is married and then he can change it to single? joke-joke-joke. but surely it will be very nice to have something like that in the profile portion. one can then say what is in his/her mind at present. have a great day. ann

I spend my limited Mylot time mostly to respond to friend's discussions and check if there are discussions posted by other members where I can contribute what I know mainly to share my experience and try to help, I rarely if ever comment on profiles or pictures, again maybe this is probably because of my limited time on the site

It is good to put priority time for how long you'll be on mylot and time for other important things to do during the day. Some days I'm here a longer time, then other days I have to do other things, which come before spending time on the internet. Mylot is a good place to learn new knowledge, that's for certain.

hi savypat every time I have tried to leave a comment on someone's profile the comment does not take. I think the thing is broken. As I tried recently and it looked good bu t five minutes later I came back and the comment is gone.I know it was not deleted as it was a kind friendly comment, nothing to be deleted at all.

I know I suggested a notifier for when you get profile comments. I totally forget to look too...

I have never commented on someone's profile and I don't think that there has ever been someone that has commented on my profile. The reason that I'm the way I am is because of the fact that I come on here to read discussions that other people have started and also to attend to the discussions that I've started in the past. It might be difficult at times to stick to the reasons that I am here, but in the end I really think that it is all very worth it.

Yes here is something new to learn always. I also like this site very much. And I always come here for learn something new and interesting things. Sometimes we see many interesting discussion on this site and it is very important to give response these types of discussion. And also we can start here many new discussion of our choice. I think this site also help us to improve our writing skills. And also many times we solve our problems here with the help of discussions.

That is what does make this website so grand in a number of ways. There is really just so much to learn on this great website, that it astounds even me sometimes. I had really not noticed the comment on profiles feature. Then again, the best websites always have a few little quirks up their sleeve that you are not going to notice off hand. I don't really have any need for the commenting on profiles, but discovering such a feature, that is really great. There have to be all kinds of little quirks that are hiding on this great website, just waiting to burst out and surprise us for whatever reason. I really do think that this website always tends to throw us some curveballs and you can spend a lot of time on here, but still not uncover everything. To me that's the making of a great website.

I agree, I know about the profile comments but I never leave a comment on a profile. I guess I feel funny doing it. I feel that some people might consider it harassment or something. Maybe in a special situation I can se leaving a comment on a profile. I do learn something different all the time here in MyLot.

i never tried commenting on my friends profile, for my more than a week here on mylot, all i did was post a topic and participate on discussions. but some other time maybe i'll try to look at your profile and send you a pm... bless you too:)
