My appeal is to launch a cry for help to those like me who suffer from mental disorders. My disease is divided into two distinct problems, simple to explain, but being resolved complex. The first concerns an obsessive bad thoughts that torment of my mind and make me feel very bad. The second is the fear of some people, knowing how to be assertive, to say my opinion, etc.. I am now many years that I have this torment, and although I help help with the intake of drugs or individual interviews, at the time, it seems that I can find a way out.

I am sorry to hear this alberello. Yes, mental disorder can be cured especially when one has all the moral support from his love ones. Good that you have this self-awareness, this can help you get out from it. I have read an article that mental disorder is also a spiritual disorder. There is no balance between one's mind, spirit and body. I am glad you are into this site because this can be a form of diversion every time something just get into your mind. Lift up everything to God. He is the only cure.

From your description, I would say that this is not really a mental disease or a disorder but rather an emotional or psychological problem that has its roots somewhere back in your early life or childhood. I am not a psychologist but it seems to me that both problems are due to a deep-seated lack of self-assurance, probably due to a traumatic incident (which you may have forgotten) when you were told by someone you respected that you were 'no good' and a 'bad person'. This sort of problem can usually be cured completely (and quite quickly) with proper therapy. It usually involves going back in your memory (with expert help), finding and remembering the traumatic incident or event and coming to an acceptance of it as something which can be healed and closed. Such therapy, I should warn you, can be a painful experience but one which nearly everyone who has gone through it wholeheartedly claims to have been worthwhile. You need to find a therapist in your area whose speciality is in emotional problems and whom you feel you can trust. Most therapists will offer an initial consultation free, so that you can get to know them (and them you) and know that they can help you.

I know one of your obsessions and when i first found out about it i knew there was something wrong with you. Would it help if you talk to a shrink in addition to taking your meds?

I am happy to hear that "it seems that I can find a way out". I think we all have some mental disorders, no body is perfect, but the different is how this affect your life.. Any way i don't think it can be totally cured but i believe that individual interviews can help you manage living with this disorders daily..

If you take medications regular so you can lead normal life. I met many people with mental disorders and as long as they take medications regular they can lead normals life and be really happy. I also seen what mental disorders can do to people. It's like living with hell in your head. Thank God for modern medicines. I wish you all the best. Be positive :)
