These misconceptions are marketing strategy because moneymaking companies want to drive people to purchase because it is Friday 13. Nowadays people will play the lotto and purchase scratch tickets and the national lottery will earn a lot of money; fortune tellers will have more clients; DVD stores will rent additional movies; and so on... I do not believe this superstition. Today is a day like any other day. I'm going to do my grocery for the week, I will pass the vehicle inspection, and I will go to work and pick up my new TV". Like just an ordinary day.

I love when people get scared of Friday the 13th. Its pretty cool
and creepy. I love fridays because our payday is every other friday
although im not a fan of number 13. I like the # 7 for some reasons so
why not change it to friday the 7th instead.LOL

It's a load of crock! "Friday the 13th" is not real. In fact, the 13th is usually a lucky day for me. One time, on Friday the 13th, I won $100 and a free month at a gym club. What was that about Friday the 13th being bad?

I don’t think so. Many says that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day because many will meet an accident, many will die, many will get fooled and be hurt. That is just a misconception. Friday the 13th regardless of the month is just a regular day. If your birthday will be Friday the 13th, just like my brother who was born November 13, 1992 and that was Friday the 13th, which makes the day as a lucky day to my family, it is just a regular day. I agree, it is just a marketing strategy to sell those goods that is in the market. It is just a news and people tend to go with the flow. I believe there is no difference between the marked day Friday the 13th to a regular day.

I never thought much of Friday the 13th. Now if you talk about walking under a ladder or having a black cat cross your path then I would be worried. Those two sort of make me nervous. So we can surely do away with the Friday the 13th and look at other superstitions. LOL
