From 4th of August I and my wife have started taking Ayurvedic medicines for our health issues, which is burning sensation, pain and numbness in soles of feet and palms. This is one of the side effects of diabetes, in which the nerves in soles and palms are damaged. Electrical conductivity tests performed in one of the super specialty hospital in Hyderabad, India on both of us has confirmed this.
We are taking the allopathic medicines and injections prescribed by the doctors, we also took homoeopathic medicines, we sleep on special therapy beds, called PEMF (Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field) beds, this has effect on nerves and blood circulation.
Refer: ‘Beneficial Effects of Electromagnetic Fields’-----Journal of Cellular Biochemistry 51:387-393 (1993)
I had also purchased medicines made from Cow Urine, this is another form of therapy, but we have NOT used.
I consulted an eminent Ayurvedic doctor here in my city, he has given us medicines that are made from herbs, leaves, roots, minerals; it has ‘ash’ of gold, pearl, mercury etc, these ‘ash’ are called ‘bhasma’, they are made by special processes, by burning these thousands of times, they are oxides basically in micro form, rather energized. We are taking some with turmeric paste, some with juice of some plants, some with milk.
We are also messaging oils made from roots, leaves plants on soles and palms.
The therapy is costly, 20 days medicine cost is Rupees ten thousand six hundred rupees, we will take for 3 months, he has advised.
Today is 9th day, we both feel its effect, the pain, numbness, and pain appears to be less.
I hope we will be cured.
What is your opinion on this, please share.
Thanks in advance.

I cannot tell you specifically what I think of the therapy, but just last night I started raeding a book from an Indian doctor who I respect (Deepak Chopra) and he talks about how he decided to incorporate Ayurveda medicine into the Western medicine and how he believes te body can and does heal itself when given the right herbs, diet, rest, meditation, etc. It made me start thinking about trying more herbs since the pills I take don't agree with my stomach and I am starting to think the chemicals that pills are made from are not good for the body. I hope your therapy does help you, especially since it is so expensive.

It is good that you have found an alternative medication for your diabetes. Many people prefer to go for herbal medications when the modern pills could not cure their ailments. Herbs are quite popular here in my country but the only reason why people still prefer taking pills from hospitals is because the herbalists here are not government licensed and not given recognition by the government to dispense medication to the public. They operate privately from homes.

This sounds interesting.
Do you know what type of diabetes you have? There are mainly 2 types that i know of, one is diet and lifestyle related (I think this is type 2).
If you have type 2? I think a change in diet could also help you (but please remember I am not a doctor)
I have read that a raw food diet can cure diabetes 2. There is a lot of information about raw food and raw food diet on the internet and youtube. There has even been a movie where they took all these people out to the bush for a while and made them eat raw food - some of them had diabetes 2 and were cured.
In Australia there is a lot of info for people with diabetes , particularly glycaemic index and low gi foods - I recommend looking at these things if you are interested in natural ways of treating your disease for less monty.
All your treatments sound very interesting, although I particularly wouldn't want to try the cow urine one and I would be suspicous of the mercury. I have heard that magnets in underlays for beds can create wonders for some people, but I haven't tried them. I have been tempted in buying magnetic bedding, but it is quite expensive.
Good luck, it will be interesting to know how all your therapies go.
