Mirages

For half a century,
I have been living on trusts, but always met with mirages;
Now I am crippled,
After all, things wait for days and years, not for ages.
Every mirage attracted me like an oasis,
For my needs being their genesis.
Persons come for playing foul,
To pass time and preying on my soul.
I watch many coming,
They hoe me and go after sowing -
Some seeds of desires and aspirations;
When plants grow, I find them far away rowing.

Yes my dear, this is a fact of life - mirages all around looking like oasis. Your sensitivity is of great value to you, as well as all around you, including me.

It is always nice to find a bit of poetry tucked in here and there...Nicely done.

rambansal: Nice poem. Life is full of trust bestowed and trust destroyed. Oasis turn out be mirages after experience only. People come and go but time will be going on as usual. We learn to give up only in the end.
