Harry Potter series of movies is over, as far as I know. The last movie on Harry Potter has been released a few weeks ago and has been able to win the box office. I have neither read any book nor watched any movie made on Harry Potter. But I can easily feel the pulse of the people, especially of the younger generation from their discussions which I often listen to while passing by them and can realize how they are feeling sad over the fact that they would never be able to read or see any new venture of Harry Potter. Have you read any book or watched any movie on Harry Potter? What’s your experience about Harry Potter? Would you kindly share it with us?

I really haven't watched any of the movies and I haven't read any of the books either. The reason for that is because of the fact that it just didn't seem like something that was interesting to me. However, my little sister was an avid fan of the movies first and then she read the books as well. She has admitted that there is a certain grieving process that she has gone through since the movies and books are over, but she said that knowing that she can revisit whenever she wants to is a great thing for her.

How about the fact that my teenage daughter has gone on nonstop about it for months?

I started reading the first one of the series but my granddaughter wanted to read it so I gave it to her. I never got back to them again. I have seen parts of the different movies but not all of any of them. Are you going to read them or just hear what others say about them?

No, I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books nor I have seen the movies and I am not curious at all. This is pure fiction, and I don't like fiction. What I cannot understand is why people have slept in the streets waiting the last movie and being so fanatic over a movie, a book or an actor. This is way too much, idolizing a person or a thing is overreacted and not good.

I think Harry Porter is really good, the books as well as the films.I am not the young generation, but I really like the movies.I havenot read the ENGLISH VERSION book, but I heard from my friend that the books are much better thant the movies. I think you can have a look at the movies when you are free.

I haven`t read any of the books on the Harry Potter series but have seen a few films on TV. The present generation is much more advanced than we were during our time over 40 years ago and the type of books we read were much more simple and uncomplicated.Of course we had Superman, Flash Gordon etc in the sci-fi medium but not like this series.Maybe because i haven`t read any of these books i didin`t enjoy watching the movies and i don`t feel like reading any of the books either.Every generation has its own choices, i have had mine and the present generation has its own.

I'm not a die hard fanatic of Harry Potter but i have read all the books years ago. If only my husband wanted to go with me in watching the movies then i could have seen all the movies. But i'm waiting for it to be available online so i could watch all the movies that i haven't seen. I'm not affected by the ending of the Harry Potter or the thought that there's no more another story or movie. I'm even glad that it's over and i'm very happy with how the story ended in the book. But I believe it's quite different from the movie though so that's why i'm curious how they presented it.
