if your loved one cheated on you. But later confessed and apologized, and promised to just love you only. How would you react and handle it?

Similar to GG above; been there done that and because of the yet worse situation, I myself cannot go through it again. I am such a loyal person with my partner that I want the same loyalty back. Sadly my past experiences were so horrid that I can't go through it again.

Yes I won't give up on love and have been blessed with someone for almost 8 years now that I have never had to worry about.

I wouldn't except their apology, they went against your love, and you don't deserve that. I would break up with them right away. I hate it when people cheat on their lover. I mean if your not happy in your just talk to them about it instead of going behind their back.

Been there, done that, not recently. I forgave him, We were married more than twenty years, and I took care of him when he was dying. I would probably forgive this husband once, as well.

Once a cheater always a cheater. I don't care how many times he has apologized. When somebody REALLY loves you, they will respect you and be faithful to you simple as that. Of course, I would be heartbroken but I don't think is OK to forgive something of this nature because he will do it again.

oh ok. what if you're separated by distance. and the excuse is that you're not there for him/her? will that be acceptable?

That's pretty tough and that usually happens in some love affair. If that happens to me now then I will broke up with him, it's hard to fix a broken heart. Or maybe I will do the same thing for me and I'll how he'll be hurt..Revenge is sweet and I know it's not right... In the end, if he will give his best to please me then MAYE we could give it one last shot!
