So when was the last time you had a day off from work... :d yahoo.. after a few months of working continuosly and only relying on the weekend offs, (sometimes even those day s i had to take home some work)
tomorrow i won't be thinking of any work.. no no no. i will be celebrating tomorrow and the day after that because its a city holiday so our company does not require us to come to office. hehe so that was about 4 days of straight no work!! :D
so just to ask all of you.. how long was the last time you had your vacation from work? when was the last time you took a day off and turned it into about no less than 3 days of no work... please share!! =)

I have two days off weekly now, before I only get one and sometimes two. I only have 3-4 days vacation when I file a vacation leave. I go on duty even on holiday. Good to hear you had your 3 days off, you should try to do it more often so you can find time for yourself.

I am off work today and tomorrow, and I don't go to work until four on Wednesday. Then Thursday I work and Friday and Saturday I believe I'm off, or something like that. In any case, I usually have a few days off a week. Though there are times when I work for six days straight and LOVE the day I have off.

Well i do and don't get days off. I work on my hubby's days off.. depending on what they schedule me for. However, I am otherwise I'm a stay-at-home mom and I think that is a job in itself that goes on everyday and you are on call everyday to get things done and do things for the household and family.

Good for you Chiyosan! I hate my company for letting us work on holidays. I always rely on weekends. Even Christmas eve we do have work. I hate this company. Aside from, not giving us a complete benefits it sucks. Really. The owner of this company is so selfish. No training/ seminars for upgrade. No vacation/sick leave. No increase of salary. But because i need money to sustain my needs i can't stop working here. But i am plannig to change my job and look for better company.

In July I was away from work for 3 days. It was just a short vacation, but I really, really enjoyed it, because since March this year I have been working 7 days a week. I have two jobs, one of my jobs is from Monday to Friday and the other job is a weekend job. In my vacation I visited my parents who have a timeshare apartment in the north of Denmark. I had a great time there, we went shopping, visited a museum, had dinner at a nice restaurant etc. In September I am going to take a day off as well. There is a "cultural night" on the neighbour island and I plan on spening the time there.

Good for you to have day off on weekdays, in our office we have our day off only on Sundays but it's fine for I can make money in working days. You enjoy your day off. have a good rest for 4 days. I envy you for I'll be working on holidays..
