What black snake is venomous?

I did research about venomous snake and I found out that they have triangle head. I think what I saw in our house was a triangle head snake. It means he could be venomous. We actually didn't saw him escape or move out of the house. I am worried now that he's still here and still hiring some where. Its color was black. Don't know if its dark brown or just plane black. It was a small snake. It's length was as long as the computer keyboard. We have river at the back of our house and there is a field near our house. It was raining that time and I think he entered from out kitchen roof. I think I saw him one month ago. Do you think that snake could still be in our house that long. We don't hear any sounds of snake. And do you think it's venomous. I'm worried now.

anyway leave it jokes apart ..
once in discovery channel I found a snake is in black color and the are very much attacking one..name is black mamba and they are venomous ..they have a high toxic venom can take a human life in one bite easily....most of the venomous snake make sound..and the snake you have seen I think is a new born one will not be hurmful that much ...but it is batter not to take risk..you can use carbolic acid to keep snake away from your house...

I search about black mamba. I think it is not what I saw. What I saw was really black snake like shining black. As black as the keyboard. I hope it's just rat snake. But I am still worried the triangle head.

It's hard to say if it was venomous or not. Snakes can't hear anything. They react on vibrations. Even if you talk laud the snake will not hear it but if you walk or run the snake will know that you do. First you have to know what kind of snake can live in your area and what is their nature. I hope it will go away or it's gone away. Keep us posting about the situation :)

Well I didn't hear any news here that someone has been bitten by a snake. Maybe it's not really venomous. I just hope so.

Snake! I'm just so afraid of snake especially the green snake which is highly venomous which are found mostly in fields. Now the one you found at home is something to worry about. I hope that after 4 months, you already have caught that snake. I'm afraid it is really venomous if indeed it has triangle head. Could it be a cobra? I know cobras are mostly brown and they tilt back and flatten their heads when they feel threaten. They really are very dangerous. But when not threaten their heads are just the ordinary shape or symmetrical as those of other snakes. Hope you already have killed that snake.
